Notice on Missed Appointments & Timeliness

We are reaching out to ask for your support with a growing challenge at our practice.

This week alone, 8 appointments were missed without any notice. On top of this, we have had over 15 appointments arrive late.

Currently, we have a single vet managing care across three clinics, daily appointment slots are strictly limited, and running behind disrupts consults for the rest of the day.

When someone misses a slot or arrives late, that time is lost, and another pet waiting for medical attention misses out.

If you cannot attend a scheduled visit or know you will be running late, please contact us as early as possible to let us know. Giving us a heads up, even on short notice, allows us to adjust our schedule and offer available time to a patient in need.

Thank you for working with us to keep our clinic running smoothly for all our patients.

As UK fields dry out, we’re seeing a rise in pets with grass seed injuries. These tiny, arrow-shaped seeds easily pierce skin or get trapped in ears and eyes.

Make sure to check your animals after they’ve been outside. Look out for constant licking, swelling, head shaking and scratching.

Embedded seeds can migrate deep into tissues, causing painful abscesses. If you suspect a grass seed, contact us immediately.
