🏆🐾 Meet Casey, our very deserving Braveheart! 🐾🏆

Casey has spent several weeks with us while recovering from a nasty wound following a dog bite. When he first arrived, he was understandably nervous and unsure of us, and we knew we had a challenge ahead of us!

Over the weeks, our nursing and veterinary teams worked hard not only to care for his wound, but to make his stay as positive as possible. There were lots of walks, games, enrichment and even a little training to keep his clever brain busy. We also kept his family updated with regular photos so they could see how he was doing.

And what a transformation we have seen! ❤️

The dog who arrived unsure of everyone is now greeting the team with a waggy tail, happily giving us his paw and even allowing us to give him a belly rub. His family told us that he doesn't usually do this with people he doesn't know, which made us incredibly proud.

Casey has shown us just how brave he is throughout his recovery, and we couldn't think of anyone more deserving of our Braveheart Award. 🥰

Well done, Casey! We are going to miss your face, your paw and your very important enrichment sessions. ❤️🐾
