Tiring day today 😉😍 when you’ve got a few horses on the same yard

This horse was purchased as unhandled and already had this hoof capsule so the details are unknown.

The first trim, on the left of the photo, was the first time we got a good look at the damage. It runs up towards the coronary band but does taper to a minimum there so hopefully there is no permanent coronary band damage and we can then allow this to grow out with balanced trims over time.

Second trim, on the right side of the photo, already shows improvement with tighter connection all round between hoof wall and sole.

Satisfying sole exfoliation 👌🏼 Connecting With Connie kindly soaked hooves for me today and as a result this sole just flaked off easily 👍🏼
