People think being a dog walker is:

🌳 Beautiful walks
🐶 Happy dogs
☀️ Fresh air
👟 A nice relaxing stroll

The reality:

💩 Bags in every pocket
🌧️ Rain in every direction
🌿 Mud absolutely EVERYWHERE
🐕 Dogs deciding today's route is definitely not the route you planned
🫠 Too hot to walk the dog's
😂 And talking to dogs like they're your colleagues!

Would I change it?

Absolutely not! ❤️🐾

Because getting to spend my days with dogs, helping them learn and watching their personalities shine is pretty special.

Try little moments throughout the day instead! 👇

🐾 Ask for a sit before dinner
🐾 Practise recall in the garden
🐾 Reward your dog for checking in with you
🐾 Practise calm behaviour at the door
🐾 Play a training game on your walk
🐾Just stop and ask your dog to sit and watch the world go by, it is socialising!
