It’s H H - Handsome Horry!! 😻🌟🐾

Love this little fella. Having previously groomed him in his home this time warranted a visit in the van as his mum had some builders in.

He loved it. 😻 just chilling mid groom….

Mr Sniffles is my regular elderly, 6-weekly chap over in the New Forest. ❤️

This lovely client lives alone and following a sudden illness, was struggling to keep on top of his coat. When I first met him, he was covered in mats from head to tail and has not been groomed in years. As a Persian they can rapidly grow some intense matting and pelting which he did have. He also was very nervous and struggling with some sores from them and it was clear he needed some extra help.

Fast forward just four sessions and look at where we are now! 🥹 His fur has grown back in most places, his coat is looking so much healthier and he’s happily sitting through his sessions without complaint!!

But most of all, he’s happy and comfortable in his own skin and fur! I’m so incredibly proud of this little chap and the progress he’s made. ❤️

I’m also so grateful to have such committed and loving clients who trust me to help get their cats feeling comfortable, healthy and back to their best. 🐾

🐾🌟 Attention existing & new clients! 🌟🐾

Important news! 📣

As you are aware, we are currently in the process of relocating. Unfortunately, we’ve experienced an unexpected issue with our solicitors, which means we have had to reopen our move with an alternative solicitor.

Although this has been incredibly frustrating for us and everyone involved in our chain, there is one little silver lining for Whiskers Retreat… I get to keep grooming for a little longer! 🥳🐾
Woohoo! 🎉

Although my books are currently closed to new clients, I may be able to accommodate one-off appointments in certain circumstances, particularly where matting is involved, as I still consider these cases a priority.

I will, however, continue to work to a strict schedule, as I need to make sure I have enough time for my own administration, my other job and, of course, my family. ❤️

So please bear with me, I am still receiving lots of lovely messages and enquiries, and I will always do my very best to help wherever I can.
If you have any questions or would like to enquire about an appointment, please WhatsApp me or send me a text on the number you already have. 📱

Thank you, as always, for your continued patience, support and understanding. It means so much! 🥰🐾

Oh, gorgeous little Penny and her before-and-after! 🥰

I absolutely love grooming Penny and her brother. They’re such gentle cats, but they do have a wonderfully high-maintenance coat!

Their lovely owner reached out to me and they both had the full works. Penny had some minor matting and a huge amount of undercoat that needed removing, so there was plenty of work to do!

Just look at her afterwards… she looks half her size! 😍✨ What a sweet transformation.

I can confirm Lola did in fact enjoy this flavour too…..

If you know, you know! 🥹 Dexter and his mum have been with me right from the very beginning of my grooming journey. ✨

Oh Dexter, you handsome boy! ❤️ This groom was from his previous session and I’m feeling a little emotional knowing that in just a few more weeks, I’ll be coming to the end of my grooming journey here in Hampshire and of course, saying goodbye to some of my gorgeous regulars who have been with me since I first started.

I feel incredibly lucky to have met so many beautiful cats throughout my journey here. To have started my business and reached over 200 cats across Southampton and the surrounding areas in just over a year is honestly incredible. I’m so, so grateful to every single one of you for trusting me with your precious kitties. 🥰

I’ll continue sharing some of the remaining cat photos I have from the end of July and August over the next few weeks. ❤️

Anyhow… enough of me getting emotional! 😂

Despite Dexter’s HUGE floof, those regular grooming sessions really do pay off. His coat is amazingly maintained now, and you can really see the difference in his before and after!

Some nice before and after - look at him - what a handsome boy! 😍🐾
