Is Your Dog's ID Tag Legal?

Did you know it’s a legal requirement in the UK for your dog to wear an ID tag in public? Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, every dog must wear a tag with:

Your Name
Your Address (including postcode)
A phone number is optional but highly recommended to help you reunite quickly if your dog goes missing.

You could be fined up to £2,000 if your dog isn’t wearing a proper tag, even if they’re microchipped!

Make sure your pup’s tag is up to date and compliant; it’s a simple step that keeps your dog safe and you on the right side of the law.
