TRIGGER WARNING - some may find disturbing!

Today, one of our clients’ dog came across a pile of raw meat and consumed some in an open bag in the common. Incidents like this can cause serious harm to our pets and to wildlife.

We want to kindly remind you to stay vigilant and monitor your pets whereabouts on walks or keep them safe on a lead. Dogs can quickly pick up and eat items so please be careful.

If you notice any food, waste, or potentially harmful items left in public areas, please be careful and spread awareness by reporting these incidents.

When booking your pets in for surgery with us, our team will give you a set admit appointment and, later in the day, a discharge appointment once your pet has recovered. This is crucial to ensure we can run the day efficiently and provide undivided attention to your pet when they need it most. We understand there may always be variable circumstances that affect your journey, often with road closures or heavy traffic, but can we please ask if there any issues with the appointment time we’ve agreed on, you contact us and speak to a member of our team so we can plan accordingly.

May marks the celebration of Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month, a very special time for us here in clinic to showcase our wonderful nursing team and their abilities. As well as providing a high quality level of in-patient care to the animals we see, we also perform:
* phlebotomy
* anaesthetics
* pharmacology
* consultations
* radiology
* blood pressure monitoring
* dental care
* nutrition advice
* administering medications via a variety of routes
and so much more during our daily tasks! We also have a wealth of further knowledge within our team, including canine massage, first aid and mental health qualifications.

When your pet comes to visit us, you can be confident they are in capable, caring hands for the duration of their stay. 🐾 ❤️
