Three legs and endless energy. this brave boy lost a leg in an accident as a pup, but with amazing support from his owners he’s living such a great normal life!

He was absolutely brilliant for his claw clip and so settled on the table too, total star! He deserved every single treat he got today 🦴✨

🐾 Pampered Paws Update 🐾

I’m happy to be back after 3 months recovering from knee surgery! 🥰

Quick note: I can’t get down on the floor yet. For dogs, cats and small animals, I can work comfortably with pets on table top height if I could ask for owners to please help lift your pet if needed. Or we can do their claw clip on the sofa, or anywhere your pet feels happy and relaxed, as long as I can reach them easily. This works especially well for nervous pets who don’t like being lifted!

I’m opening up for Saturdays first, plus some weekdays. just drop me a message to enquire, and I’ll let you know if I can help your pet!

🐾 The Forgotten Pets 🐾

With the hot weather, we often hear reminders about keeping cats and dogs safe — but let’s not forget our small furries and reptiles too. 💛

Today, Rocket ( my hamster ) has been keeping cool with some safe ice packs and frozen cucumber, while Tina my corn snake has had her viv heating turned off because the cool end was already sitting at 30°C. I also gave her a lukewarm soak to help provide some relief from the heat. 🐹🐍

Every species struggles with high temperatures differently, and overheating can become dangerous very quickly. Please take a moment to check on your rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, reptiles, and other small pets during this heatwave.

A few simple adjustments can make a huge difference. 💚

I’m still off recovering at the moment, but I wanted to stay active on here and share a little summer pet tip 💛

Did you know dogs can get heatstroke much faster than we can, even on days that don’t feel that hot to us? Always make sure your pets have plenty of fresh water, shade, and avoid walking them in the middle of the day when the sun is strongest 🐶

This gorgeous girl is 8 months old and a rescue 💕 We took a slow, gentle approach with her to make sure she felt completely comfortable, and she did amazingly well. happy, relaxed, and fuelled by lots of treats!

Minnie is a great example of why it’s always a good idea to start desensitising pets to having their claws handled as early as possible — but it’s never too late, no matter their age. Taking things at their pace makes all the difference 🐶✨

Pippa was previously very nervous at the groomers and would shake a lot, so her owners decided to try a nail clip at home instead.
Being next to mum on the sofa made all the difference — no shaking, just relaxing and enjoying her treats.
