When was the last time you truly felt calm, not just distracted?

There’s a difference between switching off and settling your nervous system. One numbs, the other restores.

Horses don’t engage with distraction, they respond to genuine calm. If we’re unsettled, they feel it instantly.

✨ Try this today:
• Step outside and slow your breathing
• Notice your surroundings
• Allow a pause without filling it

What does calm actually feel like in your body and when did you last notice it?

What stops you from reaching out for support?

Sometimes it’s fear, past experiences, or the belief that we should manage alone.

But support isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s connection.

And connection is something we all need.

✨ You don’t have to do this on your own.

What might change if you allowed yourself to be supported?

How often do you truly notice the moment you’re in?

It’s easy to get caught in the past or jump ahead to the future.

But presence doesn’t require perfection, just awareness.

A breath. A sensation. A small moment of noticing.

✨ That’s often where calm begins.

What can you notice in this moment, right now? B

→ Save this for the days when you feel you need to come back to the moment.

Happy Monday from the herd! 🐴🤍

The Monday morning welcoming committee is officially on duty 😂

And if you’re arriving at this week feeling full of energy… brilliant.

If you’re arriving slightly frazzled, already checking your mental to-do list, wondering how it’s only Monday again… also completely valid 😅

There’s something I quite like about the horses’ approach to a new day.

They don’t know what the week ahead looks like. They’re not worrying about Friday while standing in Monday morning.

They’re just… here.

Eating. Watching. Pottering about. Saying hello. Getting on with being horses.

Perhaps we could borrow a little bit of that energy this week.

Not necessarily “I’m going to have the best week ever!”

Maybe just…

“Let’s see how today goes.”

One day at a time. One thing at a time. And hopefully with a few moments along the way that make you smile.

Whatever kind of Monday you’re having, the herd and I hope it’s a gentle start to your week 🤍🐴

Happy Friday from all of us at Jenna Hall Counselling & Equine Facilitated Therapy! 🐴💚

Brandy wanted to make sure we didn’t finish the week without a smile... and perhaps a little reminder to stick our tongues out at stress from time to time! 😜

Wishing you a weekend filled with rest, laughter, connection, and moments that nourish your wellbeing.

What emotion have you been avoiding lately?

Not all feelings are easy to sit with.

But emotions don’t disappear when ignored, they often just get quieter… and heavier.

Creating space to notice them, safely and gently, can be the beginning of understanding.

✨ You don’t have to rush the process.

What might happen if you allowed that feeling to be there, even briefly?

02/09/2026

What small change have you been thinking about but putting off?

Change doesn’t always need to be big or life-altering.

Often, it starts with something small, a shift in awareness, a different choice, a new perspective.

Those small steps build over time.

✨ You don’t have to do everything at once.

What is one small step you could take today?

Where did you learn you had to be more to be enough?

Many of us carry beliefs about needing to achieve, give, or prove in order to feel worthy.

But worth isn’t something you earn, it’s something you already have.

Unlearning those patterns takes time and compassion.

✨ You are enough, even on the quiet days.

What would change if you believed you were already enough?

Happy Bank Holiday Monday from the herd 🐴🌿

While the rest of us might be thinking about making the most of the extra day, the horses seem to have a slightly different plan…

Eat a bit.
Rest a bit.
Eat some more.
Possibly move a few metres and call it a productive day. 😂

And honestly? They might be onto something.

There can be so much pressure to make the most of our time, even when we’re supposed to be having a break.

So, if today looks like a walk, a catch-up with someone you love, getting jobs done… lovely.

But if it looks like slowing down, switching off, or doing absolutely nothing in particular, that’s okay too.

Sometimes a restful day is a day well spent.

Whatever your Bank Holiday looks like, I hope you find a little space to breathe, recharge and do something that feels good for you 🤍

From me, Archie, Brandy and Smartie — Happy Bank Holiday Monday 🐴✨

Happy Friday! 🎉🐴💨

Brandy has made a decision…

He’s OFF. Into the weekend! 😂

No looking back. No overthinking. Just full-speed-ahead towards all the good stuff!

Whether your week has flown by or felt like it contained approximately 10 working days… you made it. 🙌💚

So, what’s the weekend looking like?

☑️ Comfy clothes
☑️ No alarm clock
☑️ Time for YOU

Whatever you’ve got planned, I hope there’s plenty of laughter, fresh air, good food, good company and maybe even a little time to do absolutely nothing.

Because sometimes your nervous system doesn’t need another thing on the to-do list…

It needs a weekend. 😌

So take a deep breath, give yourself a little pat on the back, and gallop into your weekend like Brandy! 🐴💨😂

You’ve earned it.

Wishing you a joyful, relaxing and adventure-filled weekend! 💚
