Question number 1 and my top tips -

My top tips for keeping a white guinea pig nice and white are:

If your Sheltie isn’t a show pig, I’d recommend keeping her coat trimmed so it isn’t overly long and dragging along the floor, as this will really help reduce staining.

I also use deep litter and put a fresh layer of hay over the floor every day. This gives them a clean, dry surface to sit and move around on and helps keep the coat away from anything that could stain it.

For stubborn staining on white coats, I use a purple shampoo. I apply it carefully to the stained areas of the coat, avoiding the skin, and make sure it is thoroughly rinsed out afterwards.

White long-haired pigs will always take a little more maintenance, but keeping on top of the coat and bedding makes a massive difference

I'm going to start doing daily facts for up coming breeders with the main breeds I keep, swiss and magpies, what would you like to learn? This will include show prep and how to choose show stock from breeding stock.

Also pet tips how to keep you pigs in tip top condition, what would you like to learn?

Little bit of board training with the tiddlers this evening, everyone co-operated apart from the white 🤣 there's always one! And yes I have a lot of black babies at the moment, seems to be the in colour in my shed.
