🐾💚 A New Chapter, A New Name… But the Same Care! 💚🐾

I’m delighted to share some exciting news about the next chapter of our veterinary journey!

As of 1st October, Veterinary Acupuncture and Pain Management has become Indolora Veterinary Ltd. 🎉

Although our name and business structure have changed, the heart of what we do remains exactly the same.

Same personal approach. Same familiar faces. Same compassionate, individualised care for your pets.

Our commitment to helping your pets feel more comfortable, move more freely and enjoy a better quality of life remains at the centre of everything we do.

🐾 And there’s more exciting news… Meet Gemma!

I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Gemma, an experienced veterinary surgeon, to the Indolora team!

Gemma brings a wealth of veterinary knowledge and experience, and I’m thrilled to have her joining us.

From mid-October, Gemma will initially be working two days a week, meaning we can now offer appointments on Thursdays and additional appointments on Fridays.

This is a really positive step forward for the practice and will hopefully mean shorter waiting times for initial consultations and more flexibility when booking follow-up appointments.

And don’t worry — I’m not going anywhere! I’ll still be very much involved in the practice and continuing to look after my existing patients. Having Gemma alongside me simply means we can help more pets while maintaining the personal, dedicated service you’ve come to know.

💚 A Special Thank You to Alison

I also want to take this opportunity to give a huge thank you to Alison, who works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running as smoothly as possible.

From managing appointments and enquiries to handling the day-to-day administration, Alison plays such an important role in the practice. Her hard work and support allow me to concentrate on what I love most — caring for your pets.

She really is an invaluable part of the team, and I couldn’t do it without her! 💚

✨ What Else Is Changing?

Over the coming months, you’ll notice a few exciting changes as Indolora Veterinary develops its new identity, including:

🐾 Our new name and logo

🐾 A refreshed website

🐾 Some improvements and refurbishment within the clinic

These changes are all part of helping the practice grow and develop, while keeping the welcoming, friendly and personal atmosphere that makes our service special.

💚 And Finally, Thank You!

To every client who has trusted me with their much-loved pets over the years — thank you.

Your loyalty, kindness and continued support mean more than I can say. It’s a privilege to be part of your pets’ journeys, and I never take that trust for granted.

I’m incredibly excited about what lies ahead for Indolora Veterinary, and I’m so pleased to be sharing this next chapter with Gemma and Alison by my side.

A new name, a growing team, but the same dedication to your pets’ comfort, mobility and quality of life. 🐶🐱💚

Please join me in giving Gemma a very warm welcome to the Indolora family!

With warm wishes,

Sam and the Indolora Veterinary Team 💚🐾

Once again, due to an increasing demand for my services, I am having to close my books to new referrals for the foreseeable future. I am continuing explore ways to reduce administrative time to allow me more clinic time but as the business grows this continues to be a on-going process. I am unable, at this time, to say when this is likely to change but will keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding

Unfortunately I have come back from my break with COVID. Clients with appointments this week will be contacted by Alison tomorrow to rearrange, if wanted, as although I may be feeling better in myself to return to work on Wednesday, I cannot guarantee I will be testing negative. I have FFP2 masks available that offer additional protection to the standard surgical mask but appreciate some people may not wish to risk exposure. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding that somethings are beyond our control. Please email the clinic directly for any concerns re medications etc and I will do my best to sort what I can: [email protected]
Hoping for a negative test soon!

Just a reminder that the clinic will be closed from lunchtime tomorrow until Wednesday 25th of September as we take a well earned break to recharge the batteries. For urgent veterinary advice please contact your primary care vet.

Acupuncture in human medicine as well as veterinary medicine can be a divisive topic. Learning more about how it works and which cases may benefit is important to ensure that patients who may benefit from this adjunctive modality are given access to it. Our view is that acupuncture is a very useful addition to your multimodal management of your chronic pain cases, especially in those cases who suffer adverse effects to pharmaceuticals.

In this webinar, Dr Isi Iff guides you through how acupuncture works, referencing a number of studies which illustrate those various benefits. She also discusses cases where acupuncture has made a difference to managing that patient’s pain.

Thank you all for keeping me busy and entrusting your beloved pets into my care. Unfortunately due to my current very high caseload, I am unable to accept any new clients. I have to keep my plates spinning and ensure I can continue to deliver a high standard of care to my exisitng patients. We will be operating a waiting list so we can get people in as soon as an opening becomes available. The waiting time may be upto 3-4 months. Any referrals that are already being processed will still go ahead. Many thanks for your understanding.
