I'll be at Hutton in the Forest tomorrow (Sunday) at Eden Animal Rescue Fun Dog Show!

We'll have a little scurry run set up (or two for races!) and some activities for dogs and kids - all free, to keep you entertained in the name of a good cause!

It's £8 entry to Hutton in the Forest for adults, but kids are free. See Eden Animal Rescue for more info 🐶

It's sunny today, but love this 'moody' weather s**t from at the park yesterday.

I'm definitely embracing autumn vibes and beginning the cosy descent into big coats, fire on and blankets (saying that, I probably do that from about beginning of august so nothing new there!)

The Spaniel Crew Party!

We have a regular little group of spaniel owners who meet (or maybe we have a group of spaniels who bring their humans along, I can't decide which it is).

They're a lovely bunch and have been coming for over a year now, making friends and playmates and building a real little supportive community.

This is one of the lovely sides of the park that I never expected and I've had a lovely day taking down some doggy cakes and (human) pizzas to celebrate and say thank you for their support 🙏

It was a lot of fun for me, hope they enjoyed it too ❤️🥰

Cumbria Police Dog Benevolent Fund raise funds to support retired police dogs from the Cumbria Police force with medical bills.

A sheep has been attacked in the field next to the dog park today

I was wondering if anyone who used the dog park today saw anything and could send me a PM...

Just to be clear, this is NOT anyone who used the dog park, the fields are completely inaccessible to anyone using the dog park as separated by two fences, but the footpath is right on the other side of the field bordering the park, so a chance someone might have seen something occurring...

** EXEMPT DOGS **

I wanted to address how we operate for owners with exempted dogs, as I've had a couple of messages from clients with exempted dogs in the past few days.

1) We DO accept exempted dogs.

2) There is NO extra charge for exempted dogs

Our insurance just asks that:

❤️ Only dogs from the same household can attend (so if you have four dogs and one is exempted then you can bring all four, but you couldn't meet up with your friend and their dogs if you're bringing an exempted dog)

❤️ Exempted dogs must keep their muzzle and lead on in the car park but these can be removed once you are in the dog park and the gate has been securely shut.

It's important to remember that every insurance provider may have different criteria, so I can't comment on why one place may operate differently or not but this is (thankfully) how ours works which we're grateful for 🙏

When visiting in future, we will NOT be allowing single dog visits.

All dogs MUST now bring matching backup singer dogs for their visit going forward, to allow for perfectly symmetrical photos.
