Ever wondered how Cake Club came about? Here's the story... 🐴🍰

I teach one evening a week at Knights Place Riding School, and four years ago I thought the mum's deserved something just for them. A chance to have a night away from the kids, reconnect with their pony dreams, and meet other like-minded women who share a love of horses.

A relaxed walking hack through our beautiful woodland seemed perfect for riders of all abilities. Add tea and cake in the café afterwards, and it felt like the ideal combination!

And so, Cake Club was born 🍰

The mum's loved it, and we've been going strong ever since.

A few years later, I realised the idea might appeal to horse owners too. So many of us are constantly rushing around, and often don't join fun rides or events because nerves and self-doubt creep in.

So why not slow down, take the pressure off, enjoy your horse, and meet like-minded riders over a slice of cake?

That's it. That's how Cake Club started! 💛

Take some time out for yourself and join us for Cake Club! Enjoy a relaxed one-hour hack, heading straight from the car park into beautiful woodland trails, before returning for tea, coffee, and of course... cake! ☕

The aim of Cake Club is simple:
✨ Escape the stresses of everyday life
✨ Spend quality time with your horse
✨ Build confidence in a supportive environment
✨ Meet like-minded horse owners
✨ Enjoy plenty of cake!

Got a friend who's currently horseless but would love to join you? No problem! A licensed riding school horse can be hired for the hack for an additional £20.

⚠️ Horse hire is available at the Knightsplace venue only.

• Knightsplace: £25 per rider
• Perry Woods: £15 per rider
🚨 Limited spaces available

Please note: These are relaxed, social hacks conducted entirely at walk, making them ideal for confidence-building and enjoying the company of your horse. They are not suitable for riders looking for a faster-paced ride.

A rather damp morning, but we were very lucky to be indoors enjoying our fun agility obstacles!

It was a lovely morning spent with the liveries at Cranbourne Farm. Everyone worked incredibly hard, building confidence and achieving far more than they ever imagined possible.

I absolutely love working with horses and riders, helping them develop trust, confidence, and the skills needed to tackle obstacles in a calm, relaxed, and positive way.

Seeing those partnerships grow stronger is always the most rewarding part of what I do. 🐴❤️

🐴🍰 Cake Club strikes again! 🍰🐴

The recipe for a perfect morning? A generous helping of sunshine, great company, happy horses, and of course... cake. Lots of cake.

We had a lovely stroll around Perry Woods, putting the world to rights one hoofbeat (and slice of cake) at a time.

If you or your horse prefer a relaxed pace, enjoy a walking hack, or would like to meet fellow riders without the pressure of keeping up with the speed demons, then Cake Club is definitely for you!

Nervous riders and nervous horses are always welcome. The only thing we encourage being bold about is reaching for a second slice of cake. 🍰😉
