⚠️ IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ ⚠️
Rant incoming, but this needs to be addressed.
It has come to my attention that a number of people are not completing or updating their dogs’ online profiles correctly, and there are also ongoing issues with payments and booking confirmations.
I do not pay for the Pet Portal for the sake of it. It is there for a very important reason — your dog’s safety and wellbeing, as well as ensuring I have accurate and up-to-date information for every dog in my care. It also ensures information is handled appropriately in line with GDPR requirements and allows you to update details without having to repeatedly complete paperwork.
🐾 ONLINE PROFILES — PLEASE KEEP THEM UPDATED
Going forward, EVERY section of your dog’s profile must be completed accurately and kept up to date.
If information is missing, incorrect or out of date, I will not be accepting your dog until the profile has been fully completed and updated.
In particular, please ensure the following are kept up to date ONLINE:
🐾 Vaccinations — these must be uploaded to your dog’s personal portal. Please do not simply send me a photograph or certificate, as I cannot update your profile on your behalf.
🐾 Emergency contacts — please check these and update them immediately if anything has changed.
🐾 Medication — all medication must be clearly recorded, including dosage and instructions.
🐾 Feeding information — please provide accurate details, including exact quantities/measurements of wet and dry food, rather than simply stating what your dog is fed.
🐾 Any other changes — allergies, medical information, behavioural changes, feeding requirements, contact details or anything else that may affect your dog’s care must be updated on the portal.
Please do not arrive on the day of your dog’s stay and tell me that something has changed. I cannot be expected to remember verbal updates, particularly when caring for multiple dogs. This is exactly why the online profiles are in place.
The information on these profiles is what I rely on to care for your dogs safely and correctly. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that this information is accurate and up to date.

💰 BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
I would also like to make the booking and payment process clear, as there have been occasions where payments have not been made within the required timeframe.
Invoices are sent via email to the email address associated with your account. Please ensure you are checking this email address, including your junk/spam folder where necessary.
🐾 25% deposit — MUST be paid when your dates are confirmed.
Your dates are NOT considered booked or secured until the 25% deposit has been received. A conversation or confirmation of availability does not constitute a confirmed booking.
🐾 Final balance — MUST be paid no later than 2 days before your dog’s stay.
Please do not wait until the day of drop-off to make payment. The final balance must be received at least 2 days prior to the start of the booking.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure payments are made within the required timeframes. I will not be continually chasing outstanding payments or sending repeated reminders.
If the deposit has not been paid, your booking is not confirmed.
If the final balance has not been paid by the required deadline, this may result in the booking being cancelled.

I appreciate that these may seem like simple things, but they are essential requirements for running the business properly and, most importantly, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every dog in my care.
Going forward, there will be no exceptions to these requirements.
Please take a few minutes to check your dog’s profile and ensure everything is correct before their next stay, and please ensure payments are made within the specified timeframes.
I cannot be expected to chase information or payments that are the owner’s responsibility.
