Inline with the initiative this is a men only event (don't worry ladies we'll line up something for you soon). A massive THANK YOU to McPhillips Wellington Limited for funding the project in partnership with the Shropshire Community Foundation. We are also most grateful to Arscott Farm and pizza for their involvement. Please drop a text to Jo on 07949 780529 so we have plenty of pizza ready. Don't forget it's BYO drink too!

Latest update with bluetongue -
Red is confirmed and blue is tested, we currently have over 1000 cases in the uk and many more potential cases. Roughly 1,000 sheep cases and 400 cattle cases.

Previously, if bluetongue was suspected the process involved sampling animals and waiting for lab testing but now private vets can play a more direct roles, vets examine the affected animal and we can clinically diagnose bluetongue and put it on the new online system, if we’re not 100% we then send to a lab.

Bluetongue is widely circulating in England and vaccination is the main prevention!!! 💉 👅
