We focused on impulse control this session through games and play - we help all our puppies to learn impulse control to create a well-rounded adult dog who is able to manage all kinds of scenarios.

A puppy who learns impulse control early on is able to:

What equipment does your puppy actually need?

There are SO many puppy products out there, and it can be overwhelming knowing what you really need and what you can probably live without!

Weโ€™ve put together 5 of our favourite pieces of equipment we recommend to all of our puppy owners, particularly for those first few months out in the big wide world. Weโ€™ve also included our tips on how to introduce each piece of equipment positively and help your puppy feel comfortable using it.

This post mainly focuses on equipment for outdoor adventures and training, but thereโ€™s a whole other world of equipment that can be useful at home too!

Weโ€™ll be sharing more on enrichment, toys, settling, sleep and other at home puppy essentials in future posts, so make sure youโ€™re following along!

A huge well done to Scout George for completing his Puppy Programme with us back in June! (I know, I knowโ€ฆ weโ€™re a little behind ๐Ÿ˜‚)

George, our very smart little cookie, did so brilliantly throughout every session, we were hoping the sessions could just go on forever!

A massive well done to his incredible owners too. They were so intuitive, always taking the time to understand George and trusting what they felt was right for him.
We find that so often, our owners already have all the knowledge they need, they just need that little bit of reassurance that theyโ€™re on the right track, And that was absolutely the case with George and his family.

It was such a pleasure to work with you all, weโ€™re so grateful to have been a small part of the beginning of your time together ๐Ÿงก

I think George and his owners deserve a Socialite Badge too - Weโ€™ll see what we can do! ๐Ÿคญ
