🐾 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT | Obi & Figgy
Back in April 2025, Helen brought Obi and Figgy along to one of our social skills sessions at Charlecote Garden Centre.
A few weeks later she got in touch asking if we could help with weekly walks and a bit of one-to-one support.
Fast forward to today...
The pups have made loads of friends on our walks, grown in confidence and become a real part of the GJPS family. 🩷
But here's the bit people don't always see: the training wasn't because Obi and Figgy were "naughty"; it was because Helen and Julian wanted to feel more confident too.
Sometimes all people need is someone to ask.
"Is this normal?"
"Why is he barking at the front door?"
"Am I feeding the right amount?"
That's the bit we love! Yes, we walk dogs, but we also support the people who love them, and enable them to be better dog parents when we’re not around. Sometimes a bit of reassurance is all it takes to make the difference. 🐾
Helen said: “It’s great to see how far Obi and Figgy have come. They’re intelligent, high-spirited animals with their own distinct personalities, and they get so much from their time with the GJPS team. They’re always so excited to see Gemma or Jodie turn up, because they knew it means fun is ahead!”
Julian added: “we’re both first-time dog parents so there’s a lot to learn, and the support and guidance we get from GJPS is just brilliant: always supportive and calm, even when we’re struggling! It’s been a success from the word go.”
