You will always be sure of a warm welcome here at Predators, as well as stocking an extensive range of exotic pets, food and dry goods we are always happy to offer Exotic Pet help and advice. Being reptile keepers for many years ourselves, we are well versed in the keeping these amazing exotic animals. We have a constant changing array of exotic pets for sale but also have several unusual pets of our own in the shop including Rattle snakes, Spectacle Camen (Alligators) and our breeding pair of 14 foot Burmese Pythons. For over 8 years we have been offering our exotic pets and have become one of the most well respected exotic pet shops of our kind in the north, endorsed by the most important people of all, our customers.

WINTER IS COMING!!!Yes im the last person on earth to start watching Game of Thrones, but also winter is actually coming!

Some long range forecasts are predicting a colder winter that recent ones, and even government are advising people to stock up on essentials. Adverse weather can also effect deliveries of livefood and dry goods to us from wholesalers. We spend a huge amount of effort making sure we get the best quality product on the shelves, but sometimes it can be out of our control.

So here a a few suggestions to try help in the worst of weather.

Keep at least 1 spare heat bulb

Keep any fuses handy

Try not to totally run out of livefood

Mario worms, mealworms and dubi roaches last a lot longer than crickets and locusts, try keep a box or 2 in reserve

Heat packs are ideal to keep in a cupboard in case of a power cut

If you have the ability to boil water with no electricity, keep a hot water bottle in, it can be used in an emergency wrapper in a hand towel

Lastly, if your reptile does cool down significantly, DO NOT HEAT UP FAST, its imperative to let them heat back up slowly, heating too fast can be deadly.

We’re pleased to welcome these fascinating little characters back to Predators Reptiles! 😍

If you love discovering unusual reptiles, these little beauties are definitely worth a closer look!

🌵 A little bit about viper geckos…

🦎 Unique looks – Their chunky heads, big eyes and beautiful markings give them a distinctive appearance.

📏 Tiny reptiles – Adults typically reach around 7–10cm in total length!

🌙 Night-time explorers – These little geckos are mainly nocturnal, becoming more active in the evening.

🦗 Little hunters – They feed on live insects and need a carefully designed enclosure with suitable temperatures, hides and secure housing.

💚 Small but fascinating, they still need the right setup and specialist care to thrive!

This has been due to an on going supplier issue.
