🚨 NEW SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH: DOGS FED DRY KIBBLE MAY CONSUME FOUR TIMES MORE OF A PROBABLE CANCER-CAUSING CHEMICAL THAN HUMANS.

Research estimates that dogs eating dry kibble may consume approximately four times more acrylamide per kilogram of body weight than adult humans.
🔥 A PROBABLE CANCER-CAUSING CHEMICAL
Acrylamide can form when ingredients are exposed to the extremely high temperatures used during kibble manufacturing. It is classified as a probable human carcinogen by the International Agency for Research on Cancer.

Despite these concerns, there are currently no specific regulatory limits for acrylamide in pet food.

High-temperature processing can also produce compounds known as advanced glycation end products (AGEs), which have been associated with inflammation and chronic disease in human and laboratory research.

🔬 A new review published in Frontiers in Veterinary Science examined chemicals formed during high-temperature pet food processing, including acrylamide and advanced glycation end products (AGEs).
HERE’S WHAT THE RESEARCH REVEALS: 👇
🐾 4 TIMES MORE ACRYLAMIDE: Research estimated that dogs eating dry kibble may consume 4 times more acrylamide per pound of body weight than adult humans. Acrylamide is classified as a probable human carcinogen.
🐾 75% LOWER BLOOD LEVELS: In a four-week dog study, dogs eating gently cooked fresh food had approximately 75% lower median blood AGE levels than dogs eating high-heat processed canned food.
🐾 CANNED FOOD ISN’T EXEMPT: Another study found that canned pet food contained approximately 3.5 times more of one AGE marker (CEL) than dry kibble.
🐾 POTENTIAL HEALTH CONCERNS: Research in humans and laboratory animals has linked certain AGEs to inflammation, oxidative stress and chronic disease. Long-term effects in pets need more research.
🐾 NO SPECIFIC SAFETY LIMITS: Regulatory safety limits for acrylamide and AGEs in pet food have not been established.

Millions of loving pet parents rely on kibble because it’s affordable, convenient or their only realistic option.
Feeding kibble doesn’t mean you love your dog any less.
But ultra-processed foods can come with chemical exposure concerns, and we shouldn’t ignore them simply because these foods are widely used.
This review doesn’t prove that kibble causes cancer. But it raises questions about food processing and the long-term effects of eating the same food every day.
