Lovely Poppy in for her groom today. 🐾❤️

Poppy is one of my longest-standing clients, and I've had the pleasure of grooming her for around five years now.

She is always a joy to groom and such a lovely girl to spend time with. It's been wonderful watching her over the years and being a small part of her journey.

As always, she was an absolute pleasure today. 🥰✂️

Handsome Elton in today for his clip off. 🐾❤️

I normally groom Elton at home, but today he came to see me at the salon. Let's just say he still prefers being outside for his groom! 😆

Despite that, he was an absolute sweetheart as always. Elton has the loveliest nature, and I absolutely adore him. 🥰

Looking very smart and feeling much more comfortable after his clip off. ✂️✨

Lovely Jazz in for her bath today. 🐾❤️

A few weeks ago, I visited Jazz at home to clip her as she had been reluctant to leave the house. Today she came in for her bath and did brilliantly.

It's always lovely to see a dog growing in confidence and feeling more comfortable with the grooming process at their own pace.

Well done, Jazz – you were a superstar today! ✨🥰

🎉 7 Years of Dog Grooming 🎉

This month marks 7 years since I first opened my doors as a dog groomer.

While Paws in Harmony is only 4 months old, the journey actually began 7 years ago as Barks and Bubbles. Since then, so much has changed. I've learned countless lessons, met hundreds of wonderful dogs, built lasting relationships with their owners, and grown both personally and professionally.

Taking the leap to create Paws in Harmony was a big step, but one that truly reflects the kind of grooming business I want to be – focused on kindness, patience, comfort, and doing what's right for each individual dog.

None of this would have been possible without my amazing clients, both old and new. Thank you for trusting me with your dogs, supporting my business, recommending me to friends and family, and allowing me to do a job that I genuinely love every day.

Whether you've been with me since the Barks and Bubbles days or you've recently joined the Paws in Harmony family, I'm incredibly grateful for your support.

My dad's namesake, the handsome Doug, in for his groom today! 🐾❤️

Doug is always a pleasure to see and such a lovely boy to spend time with. He was as good as gold for his groom and left looking very smart indeed. ✂️✨

New boy Rufus visited for his first groom with me today! 🐾❤️

Rufus was a pleasure to work with and took everything in his stride. First appointments are all about helping dogs feel comfortable, building trust, and getting to know each other at their own pace.

Such a lovely lad, and doesn't he look smart after his groom? ✂️✨

Lupin has the right idea, lying in the shade and taking it easy! ☀️🐾

I'm keeping a close eye on both of my dogs during this heatwave as they're both elderly now. As much as Jess loves to sunbathe, I can't let her stay out for too long.

They haven't been out for a walk for a few days because even early in the morning it's been too warm. Sometimes the safest thing we can do for our dogs is let them rest at home, keep them cool, and wait for the temperatures to drop.

Plenty of fresh water, shady spots, and lots of naps seem to be the order of the day here! ❤️🐶
