I provide friendly, reliable dog walking tailored to your dog’s needs — whether they’re full of energy and need a good run, could do with some basic training or prefer a slower sniffy stroll. 🌳🐕

🐕 1 HOUR WALK
• Solo — £15
• Additional dog — +£10
• Maximum 3 dogs

🐾 30 MINUTE WALK
• Solo — £10
• Additional dog — +£7
• Maximum 3 dogs

✨ Solo walks — perfect for dogs who prefer their own company, need extra attention, or just enjoy a peaceful walk.

🐶 Small group walks — a great way for friendly, social dogs to get exercise and enjoy some company!

🐾 An adventure for two! 🌿🐶

Yesterday, Arlo and Smokey headed off to Weston Park’s Summer Celebration for a little adventure! They had plenty of time to explore, sniff and run around on their long leads, with Smokey even making a few new friends along the way. 😊

It was especially lovely seeing Smokey enjoying himself again after not feeling his best recently — he certainly made up for lost time with all those new smells! 🐾

Arlo arrived feeling super anxious since we haven’t been there for a few months, but despite that, he did incredibly well with all the activity, people and dogs around us. His progress with his reactivity is becoming clearer every time we head out for an adventure and even our daily walks, and seeing him manage those situations while still enjoying himself is fantastic. It really highlights the bond we have and shows how much stronger it has become.🚶‍♂️🐕

It’s breakfast time and your dog has suddenly forgotten how to be patient… 😂

Smokey and Arlo have very different approaches to waiting for their morning meal, but both seem to agree on one thing:

FOOD. NOW. 🤣

Smokey takes his morning meal VERY seriously. Arlo enjoys showing off his new tricks before munching, but he will give you a little grumble if you ask for one paw too many! 🐾🤣

Every dog has their own little routines and quirks, and honestly, getting to know those little personalities is one of my favourite things about spending my time with dogs. 🐕

What does your dog do when they know it’s food time? 👀

When the week has been a little too exhausting… 😂💤

Logan, Smokey and Arlo had/have mastered the art of the weekend wind-down. 🐶🐶

After all that running, sniffing, exploring and causing mischief, I think they’ve earned a good nap! 😴🐾

🐿️ Squirrels: 10/10. Listening to me when there’s a squirrel: 0/10. 😂

Arlo’s prey drive means that every squirrel he spots becomes his next great mission!

I’m working on keeping those instincts under control, but in the meantime… he’s certainly getting his steps in! 🐶💨🐿️

🎾 Arlo has discovered a new favourite thing… 🐾

This morning’s walk involved a very important piece of equipment — Arlo’s tennis ball! 😂🎾

He’s recently started carrying his tennis ball with him on walks, and I’ve noticed when he’s got his ball, he’s much more focused on what he’s doing and seems able to relax more easily around some of the distractions that would normally catch his attention — including people and other dogs.

For a dog who has struggled with reactivity, this could become a really useful tool. Rather than simply trying to stop him reacting, I’m finding that this gives him a positive focus and helps him feel more comfortable in the environment around him.

Of course, every dog is different, and what works for Arlo won’t necessarily work for every dog. But that’s one of the things I love about working with him — figuring out what makes him tick and finding ways to help him enjoy his walks.

And judging by these photos… I’d say he’s pretty pleased with his new walking companion! 😂🎾🐶

Every little bit of progress counts and hopefully in the future he can start making some dog/people friends!

🌅 Sunset walks with dogs just hit differently. 🐾

The recent eclipse reminded me just how incredible the sky can be, and how peaceful it can feel to simply stop and take it all in.

Over the years, I’ve collected a lot of sunset photos and videos from walks with the dogs - probably too many… 😂

Arlo’s Adventure 🐾

Arlo and I had a great walk yesterday… well, he had a run really - it was me who did the walking! 😂

We made the most of the good weather and thankfully it wasn’t too hot for him. He loves the outdoors and exploring new walks, and this particular route over Wenlock Edge is a quiet one with few people or dogs around, so Arlo can relax and enjoy his time outdoors. 🌿🐶

For Arlo, his walks aren’t about getting from A to B. It’s about taking his little wiggly nose on a journey, burning off some energy and really discovering what it means to be a happy dog. 🐕

And of course, after an adventure, it’s time for a well-earned nap! 💤🐶

After all the work we’ve done together over the past 10 months, seeing him happily exploring on his extension lead and being able to listen to my commands is amazing. And best believe he gets well praised every single time he comes back to me to check in! 🦴😂

Every dog has their own personality, their own needs and their own idea of what makes a great walk.

That’s something I want to bring to Tail Trails - walks that are about the individual dog, not just the distance covered or the time spent outside. 🐾
