💜🐾 A little Sunday appreciation post…

At Friends for Pets, we're lucky to be part of so many pets' lives.

From the excitement of seeing their favourite dog walker to the comfort of a familiar pet carer visiting at home, it's the little moments that make what we do so special. 🐶🐱

To all our wonderful clients, dedicated pet carers and local teams: thank you for being part of the Friends for Pets family.

Your trust and support mean so much to us, and we're grateful to help keep so many tails wagging! 💜

We'd love to see your pets enjoying their Sunday. Share a photo of your furry family member in the comments! 📸👇

😂🐾Things only dog owners will understand…

1️⃣ You can't go to the toilet without an audience. 🚽

2️⃣ Your phone storage is 90% photos of your dog. 📸

3️⃣ You say “walkies” and suddenly they're wide awake! 🐕

4️⃣ You buy them a lovely new bed… and they sleep on the cardboard box. 📦

5️⃣ You spend ages cleaning the house, then one muddy walk changes everything. 🐾

6️⃣ You wouldn't change a single thing because they're family. 💜

Be honest… how many of these sound familiar? 😂

Tag a fellow dog lover who will understand!

You may have noticed, I don't know, I mean, its not like anyone is mentioning it, and certainly the media aren't obsessed with it, but anyway, you may have noticed that its hot! In Yorkshire we'd go as far as to say "its crackin' flags"!

So to beat the heat, the Friends for Pets Team have been doing early walks and then doing lunchtime/ afternoon pop-ins for weewees and cuddles, for those dogs whose hoomans are out all day.

This afternoon it was that warm that Izzy and I both had a paddle. I spent at least ten minutes trying to work out if I was up or downstream the sewage works!!!!

The sun is out, the shorts are on and I'm running again to prepare my beach body for summer!!!

I know I pretend to be old and fat but really I'm channelling Dame Kelly Holmes. Besides I can't sit still!

This year I'm running the Great Bristol Run in May and Chew Valley 10k in June.

If you've got a spare quid, my charity Womankind would be really grateful.

More info below. Many thanks.
