Izzy's rescue is a very small independent rescue based between Dover and Canterbury but works with other local charities and sanctuaries to rescue cats or find other rescue spaces if possible. All Izzys cats if over 4 months old will be neutered before rehoming. All our cats will be vet checked, flea and worm treated with vet products and microchipped. some cats are suitable for homes with childr

en, other cats or dogs, some are not, we do not always know the history of the cats in our care but will try wherever possible to advise you of the right cat for you. when we rehome a kitten, you will sign an agreement to neuter the kitten at 5 months old or we can offer advantageous neutering prices if you pay for the neuter in advance. We will not re-home a cat to anyone who has a cat of neuterable age that is unneutered. Every cat/kitten requires a mandatory homecheck and we ask for an adoption fee. This may vary depending on the age of the cat. Where we feel it is appropriate we will FIV/FELV test the cat. We offer lifetime rescue back up which means if you cannot keep your cat he/she comes back to us or we help you to find him/her a suitable home.

2 new kittens who will be saved from Egypt, Sparkle and Whisper, they will travel in 5 months time when they have been prepared. They are not up for adoption, they are just babies and they cannot travel till 7 months old due to the preparation process and timings

Raffle for Nacho and Marshmallow Preparation.

To prepare a cat to come from Egypt costs in the region of £120 to £130. full vaccinations, microchip,neuter , blood draw,blood test. Without your help they may not be able to be prepared.

To help these 2 I am doing a raffle, the prize is one of the limited edition prints below by Sharon Shaz Chillery who tirelessly donates her art to fundraising causes. These are signed on the back. The winner can choose which print they would like, postage will be covered.

Jojo arrived from Egypt last week and is looking for his forever home. Jojo is a very gentle sweet cat who is initially shy until he gets to know you. He was rescued from the streets. He is absolutely fine with other cats but he could easily be bullied so a home with another gentle cat or cats would be perfect or on his own. Untested with dogs.

Jojo needs an indoor home or safe preferably cat protected garden and a home with no young children.

He's not even 2 but he will need some grooming.

Jojo is neutered,vaccinated,chipped and FIV negative.

Jojo has the chance to travel next thursday 25th January, we have a last minute space due to cancellation of another cat. The plan was to fund is travel through the next auction but our flight partner has booked for this week. If you think you can spare a small amount to help him get here. The total cost of flight ticket, paperwork, basket, his share of eurotunnel, fuel, road tolls is £165.

The lovely Saeed is looking for his forever home. He is just soooooooooooooooo friendly. I had a friend here for lunch today and he spent the whole time on her lap. He is just so friendly and loving lap cat he would suit a family. He will lie on your lap or chest all day if you let him. The more attention the better for him.
He was in foster with Dorito who he liked but he can be a bit fussy on who he likes and i think would be a bit too jealous to go with other cats. I will not risk it.
He's not long haired or short haired, sort of fluffyish, has short legs and fat body and huge eyes and a big boy but gentle. He is just over a year old, vaccinated,neutered and chipped and was found as a tiny kitten in the streets.

Meet Tia, Tia is a tiny 4 year old blue point siamese. Tia is an indoor cat only and surrendered as her owner was moving. Tia is super friendly and not your normal vocal siamese (unless you have fresh turkey to hand).

Tia has lived with another siamese but is very apprehensive of other cats initially and will not eat in the presence of others unless it is fresh turkey.

She needs a quiet indoor only home, she has never lived outside and if with another cat it must be very very laid back.
She could live with older children but ideally needs a home where someone is around a lot of the time as she is very needy for affection which is standard for the breed.

Tia was neutered just before she arrived but was not a breeding cat.

Dear little Minnie has just left to go to her new home. She was such a sweet lapcat, a far cry from the attacking kitten i was told she was. She knew how to put cats in their place but as mine ignored her growling, she thought if you cannot beat them join them.
She has gone to a home with no other cats,no children but a big soppy dog who loves cats............a Newfoundland.
Again thanks to Hevva A Moore for identifying Minnie needed a quick rescue space just before Xmas and Sharon Mason for recommending their lovely friends to adopt.
Good luck Minnie Moo, you stole my heart in the time you were here
