Jinx the cocker spaniel came to me for her puppy intro recently, and today she had her first little haircut. šŸ¾

Mum wanted to keep her looking fluffy and natural, so we just gave her a subtle scissor tidy around her legs and feet to neaten everything up.

This is exactly how it should be done. Introducing puppies to grooming early really does work. Jinx walked through the door today happy, relaxed and confident, and thatā€™s exactly what I hope for with every dog that comes to see me. šŸ¤

Grooming isnā€™t just for long-haired dogs! A bath, de-shed and nail trim helps keep her coat healthy, reduces shedding and keeps her comfortable for all the adventures she goes on with her dad.

She also has plenty of tricks up her sleeve to keep me entertained! šŸ¾

A huge thank you to all of my walking and grooming clients for being so understanding and flexible over the past week. ā¤ļø

With the temperatures being so high, weā€™ve had lots of early morning walks, changed appointment times and shuffled the diary around to make sure every dog stayed as safe and comfortable as possible.

I really appreciate everyone working with me to make it happen. The dogsā€™ welfare will always come first, so thank you for trusting me and helping me do whatā€™s best for them. šŸ¾

Hopefully weā€™re back to slightly cooler weather now! ā˜€ļø

These handsome working springer brothers came in for their full groom. We kept everything nice and natural, just a good tidy up, comfortable and looking their best.

The boys had to stay together throughout their appointments though - you couldnā€™t give one any attention without the other wanting some too! šŸ˜‚ Such affectionate boys and an absolute pleasure to groom. ā¤ļø
