✨ Star Patient ✨

Meet this week’s star patients, Skye & Cosmo

These adorable siblings visited Carla for their first vaccinations and health check, and they passed with flying colours!

Starting vaccinations early is an important step in helping kittens stay happy and healthy as they grow, and these two were absolute stars throughout their visit.

Thank you to their owners for trusting us with their care. We look forward to seeing Skye and Cosmo again soon!

Agnus🩶

This lovely girl spent the day at our Longton practice recently for her dental procedure.

During her procedure she had a thorough oral examination, 6 teeth extracted and the rest of them were scaled and polished🦷

She started off a little anxious but we made her feel as safe as possibly by providing her with a hide (which she loved!) and spraying some calming spray😍

Well done little Agnus🥹

Belle🩷

Beautiful Belle spent the day at our Longton practice for her spay procedure recently and whilst she was under the anaesthetic she had her dew claw removed from her hind leg to prevent it from getting caught in the future.

After her procedure she enjoyed curling up on the nurses knee for some cuddles🥰

Just like us, our pets can be affected by seasonal allergens such as pollen, mould spores and dust mites - and autumn can bring its own triggers.

If your pet seems itchier than usual or you’ve noticed a change in their skin, paws or ears, don’t just put it down to the changing seasons. There are lots of ways we can help manage allergies and keep your pet comfortable.

Not sure if allergies could be bothering your pet? Speak to us. 💙

21/09/2026

As our pets get older, some changes can be easy to put down to “just getting old”. But changes in their health, behaviour or mobility can sometimes be signs that they need a little extra support.

We’re always here for them. Whether you’ve noticed something different or simply want some reassurance about your pet’s changing needs, our veterinary team is here to listen, check them over and help you understand what’s normal and what may need a little more attention.

Because getting older is a part of life - but your pet doesn’t have to navigate it alone. 🐾💙

Autumn walks can mean muddy paths, wet grass and plenty of things for our pets to pick up along the way.

A quick paw check after your walk can help keep them comfortable and spot any problems early. 🐶
