We're back from our hols, and had a gentle return to work on Friday.

However, last week I received the sad news that lovely Stanley had passed away. I've walked him on occasion for the past 3-4 years, but had known him and his Mum a lot longer.

He was just the sweetest little dog - not a bad bone in his body.

Sending love to all his family at this sad time xx

August was a crazy month for cat visits whilst everyone was making the most of the school holidays and getting away for a bit.

No dog photos for a few days, so it's catch up time for cat pics. These are from the second half of July (yep - that's how far behind I am!!).

Featuring:
Cilla, Cleo, Donald (no sign of Marjorie this time), Relish, Sandy & Rizzo, Velvie & Arthur, and Winnie & Bean (no sign of Kinder this time)

Sadly, Cilla passed away shortly after my visits. I've been visiting her for the last 9 years or so, so will really miss her, especially at Christmas. Run free beautiful fluffy girl 🌈🧡😢

We've had a good week. I finished off our cover walks for Fig, Bailey and Thurston. It was a delight walking them all, and Fig and Bailey (sounds like a cosmetic or cleaning range!!) were ace, fitting in well with the other dogs in the group.

Other than that, we've had nice weather, and everyone has been good boys and girls!

SPECIAL MENTIONS

Firstly, we bid a sad farewell to Kevin and his Mum as they moved away from the area. Kevin's not normally on Facebook, but I felt this was a special occasion. We were both really sad to see them go. 😭

I also had a few days dog-sitting for Thurston - such a handsome boy. 🖤

Fig & Bailey are from different homes, with 2 different dog walkers, both of who needed cover. They had their first walks with me on Tuesday and they were an absolute delight to walk, getting on well with each other and the regular lunchtime gang.

Finally - Lemmy the whippet joined us on Tuesday as well, usually walked by another walker. I used to do puppy visits in 2019, then little walks, then grown up walks with Lemmy, but haven't walked her for a while as she didn't need a dog walker. Then when she did, we were sadly fully booked. Here's a photo of her first puppy visit (July 2019) and this week's walk. It was so lovely to see her again. 🩶
