(Expires 27/2/2025) We have a dedicated team with combined decades of teaching (qualified to BHS standards) and horse-care experience with both adults and children, wh

o keep the wheels turning of this fun & friendly riding school. We hold a 5* license from Sheffield City Council and our staff are all either employed by us or are freelance and have been thoroughly vetted. All our staff are all fully insured so you can be sure that your children are in safe hands at all times. Cancellation Policy - We require a minimum 24 hours notice for cancellations. Failure to do so will result in the full price of the lesson being charged. Late Arrival - Customers should arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the event to allow time for induction and mounting up. If bringing your own riding hats, these must conform to PAS015 a staff member prior to riding will check ALL hats. As a licensed establishment and an approved centre, we work in accordance with the Child Protection Act. This applies to anyone under the age of 18. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MINIMUM AGE FOR OUR WOODLAND RIDES IS OVER 4 YEARS OLD (LESSONS ARE OVER 6 YEARS) & OUR MAXIMUM RIDERS' WEIGHT IS 13 STONES (82kg)

Why not join us for the next one?

We go on this scenic 2 hour ride through our local woodlands each Thursday 6-8pm. This is a fast paced ride for those who are confident cantering out in the woodland.

The price of £70 includes a drink at one of our local pubs along the way.

Gather your favourite people and head to Grenoside Equestrian Centre for a 30-minute Woodland Walk! Whether you're a complete beginner or just want a relaxing escape into nature, this is the perfect group activity.

Our friendly team will tutor you through all the basics you need to get comfortable in the saddle, and then we'll head straight out into the beautiful Grenoside woods.

Enjoy a relaxing evening ride through the beautiful Grenoside woods, followed by a well-deserved drink. It’s the perfect way to unwind, get some fresh air, and chat with fellow horse lovers.

Horses have a special "stay apparatus" in their legs that allows them to nap while standing up (to stay ready to run from predators). BUT they actually must lie down to get their deep REM sleep. If you see a horse flat out in the sun, they’re likely just having a very good dream!

There is a time of day at Grenoside Equestrian Centre that feels like a total dream. 🌲🌅

As the sun begins to dip, the "Golden Hour" transforms our local woods into a glowing cathedral of light. The birds start their evening song, and the only sound is the rhythmic clop-clop of hooves on the soft earth. 🐴🍃
