One of today's transformations 🤩😍

Sunny ♥️

I clipped Sunny back at the beginning of the year, a trace clip to help keep him cool on his adventures! Sunny's mum messaged to say he's really holding onto that winter coat and getting so hot on rides!

Today using the 4.5mm blades I gave Sunny a full clip and face off as requested and I've got to say he looks fantastic! 🤩

Look at that smart little head 😍

The lovely Chloe's turn for a bath this evening 🧼

I'm taking care of Chloe this bank holiday weekend while her mums away, her mum said 'if it gets hot Chloe loves a hose down'

I said I'll do you one better and give her a good bath & scrub 🤩

Chloe LOVED her bath, she even spent most of it scrubbing me back!

I don't offer the minimum, nothing is to much when it comes to looking after your fur babies ♥️

Friday makeover 🤩

It was Billy's turn for his first ever makeover with his new mum today!
Billy was a rescue so his owner wasn't sure how he would be with the clippers, but he was an absolute superstar 🥰🥳
Stood perfectly for the whole clip!

Summer coat finish using the cover cote 4.5mm blades and a good leg blend to keep that breed specific traditional look!

What a transformation 😍😍

⭐️ Friday transformation ⭐️

What a way to finish a back to back week 🤩

Meet Bridget! When her mum messaged to say she wanted to get her show ring ready, but there was ALOT of fluff, she wasn't kidding 🤭

At only 4 years old Bridget had next to no experience with clippers and it first was very hesitant to allow them, particularly around her neck chest belly and legs, but a lot of determination and patience we got there!

A full clip using covercote blades gave us that none clipped summer coat finish and she's turned out a totally different horse 😱 she looks mega!

It's not to late to clip your horses if they're carrying a lot of extra coat, covercote blades are designed to leave at least 4mm length of hair giving that non clipped look 😍

Message 07818550215 if you're looking for that show ring shine!

This is absolutely devastating 😭

As I do this job myself day in and day out you totally forget the risk your putting yourself in, especially with unfamiliar horses to yourself. It really does stress the importance of wearing a helmet at all times, but who does? It doesn't cross our minds, we are confident horse people who don't think this will ever happen to us, but clearly it does. Certainly food for thought if nothing else.

I can't imagine what her mum must be going through right now to have witnessed this, never mind the grief of the loss of her daughter. Wishing her and her family all the love and strength.

RIP sweetheart ♥️

A 13-year-old girl was killed in horror accident when she suffered a fatal horse kick to the head as her mum cried "stay down", an inquest has heard. 💔

Maci Williams suffered a horrific head injury when she was kicked while helping lead a group of horses from a paddock to the barn.

She collapsed on the ground in front of her mother, Caroline, after the incident at a farm in Lewes, East Sussex. Her mother shouted: "Stay down, stay down" as the group of horses continued to kick out.

After the horses were cleared, she immediately rushed over and began trying to resuscitate her daughter.

Paramedics were called and they continued CPR before summoning the Sussex Air Ambulance.

Maci was then flown to King's College Hospital in London where her injuries were found to be "unsurvivable."

She was transferred to Chestnut Tree House – a hospice – where she died the following day. 💔

An inquest was told the tragic accident happened at Lower Stoneham Farm in Lewes, East Sussex on February 27 last year.

Maci, a keen horse rider, had gone to the farm to ride her pony, Susie, with her mother.

While they prepared to ride out they went to get the horses from the field but noticed one animal, Amir, had jumped his fence and was standing next to a group of mares in another field.

The hearing was told the mares may have been in season and Amir had probably jumped his fence to get near them.

The group of riders went out to round up the horses and the animals were being led from the paddock back to the barns down a lane.

Maci was leading her own horse, Susie, and another horse, Lulu, a short distance behind Amir.

The hearing was told Amir became "spooked" and kicked out which set off the other horses causing them to kick.

Maci was caught with a kick to the head causing the horrific injury and she fell to the ground.

In a statement her mother said Maci had been around horses for many years and was used to them.

Ms Williams said Maci was "happy, bright and confident around people she trusted but could be quiet and shy with people until she got to know them."

The hearing was told Maci, a pupil at Seaford Head School, had found school difficult and been suffering from anxiety but she loved to ride her horse as it helped ease her stress.
