Due to the Amber & Red Alerts given this week, we are advising to leave your dogs at home, maybe set out a few activities for them or do some of the things listed below to help them keep cool
⚪️Freezable dog bowls get a dog bowl full with water add some of your dogs favourite treats or even better add some fruit that’s safe for your pets, then add a smaller bowl inside and freeze then remove the smaller dish and use as a water bowl
⚪️ cooling mats, get your cooling mat pop it in the fridge overnight or for a few hours and pop on the floor for your dog to enjoy
⚪️ adding ice cubes to there water, just ensures the water stays cold and helps keep your pets hydrated
⚪️puzzle toys etc, gives your dog the brain stimulation they’d get from going for a walk if not more, if you need any help with puzzle actives or on keeping your dog cool please don’t hesitate to pop us a message
⚪️ cats you can pop some treats such as licky licks in the fridge and give them as a nice cold treat
⚪️all animals including rodents make sure they’re in a cool area during the warmer weather
⚪️offer fresh fruit and salad to your pets a lot of fruit and vegetables contain water which will help keep your pets hydrated
