Meet one of our latest arrivals — this rather handsome pheasant who recently had an unfortunate encounter with traffic (and, sadly, traffic won that round!). 🦚🚗

He’s now recuperating at a bird rescue, where he’s receiving some much-needed TLC and hopefully plotting a safer route for his next adventure! 💚

Harry and Ralph have been up to their old tricks tonight! 😂 The little hooligans sneaked into the owner’s son’s bedroom and helped themselves to a large, open bar of chocolate — because, obviously, what’s yours is theirs! 🍫🐾

Tonight’s entertainment for Alan was then a delightful session of making them bring the whole lot back up again! 🤢😂 After an hour of drama, chocolate-related regrets and two very empty tummies, the naughty duo finally headed home — hopefully having learnt their lesson… although I wouldn’t bet on it! 🤣🐶🐶

Meet Bella & Mac! 🐾 They popped in today for their final post-op checks, 10 days after both underwent surgery to remove foreign bodies from their small intestines.

We’re delighted to report that they’ve both recovered really well! ❤️ They’ll need another 2–3 weeks of rest and recovery before they can return to their normal activities. Well done, Bella & Mac! 🐶🐶

🐾 PUPPIES GALORE! 🐾

We had our hands (and hearts!) very full this morning with 9 lively 6-week-old puppies in for their health checks and microchips. 🐶💉

Some of these little bundles of mischief will be heading off to their forever homes over the next week or two, while others are still patiently waiting to find their very own families. 🏡❤️

Needless to say, it was a very lovely start to the day! 🐾🥰

🐾 Meet Merv! 🐾

Bigger than your average Labradoodle in more ways than one! 😄

Merv is a very handsome 14-year-old Labradoodle who is more than happy to pop in today for his monthly arthritis injection. He’s also a firm believer that a vet visit should include plenty of fuss, attention and making himself completely at home — preferably from both staff and clients!

At this point, Merv doesn’t really visit us… we’re basically his second home. 😂❤️

Keep being fabulous, Merv! 🐶

Sadly, we recently said goodbye to Dexter. He was well known and loved by everyone he met on his walks around High Green and brought joy to so many people along the way.

He will be deeply missed by his family, the staff here, and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him on his walks.

Bless you, Dexter. You will be missed. ❤️

Bear’s two favourite expressions! 🐻❤️

He’s just been in for his health check and first vaccination, and we can’t believe how much he’s grown since his first consultation. Back then, he could fit in the palm of your hand! 🥹

Such a big boy now! 💕

Ralph’s latest escapade… 🤦‍♀️

Tonight, he decided to eat a LOT of butter mints — carefully unwrapping the wrappers first, of course — along with half a box of cotton buds.

He looked so innocent and meek when he was brought into the practice. 😇 We had to make him vomit everything back up.

Bless him…? 😂❤️

Steph & Laura took a leap of faith to help raise funds for Save a Stray! 🐾❤️

They jumped out of a aeroplane on Bank Holiday Monday and, thankfully, landed safely in one piece! 🪂😂

What an incredible thing to do for such a great cause. Definitely braver than me — I’ll be keeping my feet firmly on the ground! 😅

Well done, Steph & Laura! 👏🐶🐱
