Enjoy relax and grooming day with our very special girl Rya... she's not relaxed a day in her life! 🤭💕

For those who haven't virtually met our girl before, she is a crazy whirlwind of nibbles, love, head bumps and sass! ✨️ Her razzle dazzle is very charming and everyone who gets to know her, loves her! Quirks included 🤭

Rya genuinely enjoys human company and seeks out her carers for fuss, affection, and gentle head bumps. Some days she’s all-in! Leaning, nudging, soaking up every stroke and other days she lets us know she’s had enough 👊

Rya loves a good play session!! Hunting, chasing, jumping, and showing off her inner tiger with her fishing rod toy! 🐱 It’s a joy watching her confidence grow through play, and it’s a wonderful way to bond with her on her terms!

Because Rya can be sensitive to stress, we’re looking for a home to help her be the best version of herself. 👑

Rya is a truly special blend of independence, affection, sass, and classic cat crazies. She’s the kind of cat who will keep you laughing, on your toes, and completely in love...especially once she knows she’s finally safe 🥹

Milton... our Handsome, opinionated Explorer! 🐾

Now this gorgeous guy is Milton 😍🐱

He came into our care after his owner sadly passed away, and while we didn’t know much about his past… well, let’s just say he didn’t take long to introduce us to his personality! 🤭🫣

Milton is a spritely, active boy who loves being involved in everything. He’s chatty, curious, and enjoys human company... on his terms, of course! When Milton decides it’s social time, he can get very excited and a little overstimulated, so he’ll need an understanding home that can read his signals and give him space when needed. He’s very much the kind of companion who likes to choose when affection happens, cuddles are optional, respect is essential 💙💛

This clever chap also loves playtime and enrichment, so a family happy to keep both his body and brain busy is a must! He’s been choosing his favourite carers and really enjoys spending time with those he trusts… but he also treasures his independence ✨️

Time for abit of a feel good Friday post! Today we've had an amazing display of support from this wonderful company! 🫶

One of our residents needed some supportive hydrotherapy to build him some muscle up after a tough start 💙💛

We reached out to the team at Jaycliffe Canine Hydrotherapy and they made it clear from the get go that they not only understand rescue dogs and rescue work but they were happy to support us not only in the way of the sessions, but by giving us a discount too 🥹 This act of kindness goes such a long way with rescue being the struggle it is at the moment ... and we have heard from the foster family of this lucky pooch that he THOUROUGHLY enjoyed his session and made 3 new friends within their team which is a big thing for our nervous nelly! 💙💛

They were patient and accommodating to a rescue dog which just speaks volumes to us! 🫶

We provide tailored rehabilitation swimming sessions for dogs with a range of chronic medical conditions and those recovering from surgery or injuries. We also offer fun swims, fitness & conditioning, water confidence, puppy swims and weight management.

Older rescue cats might not bounce off the walls like kittens, but what they do have is something truly special: love that’s already learned how to be patient, deep, and beautifully calm 🫶

✨ Fun facts about senior cats:
🐱 Older cats are often low-maintenance companions, they’ve outgrown the chaos and prefer cuddles over climbing your curtains.
🧠 Many senior cats are incredibly intuitive! They seem to know when you’ve had a long day and will appear just when you need comfort most.
💕 Their personalities are already fully formed, so what you see is what you get… and it’s usually adorable, quirky perfection.
💤 They are professional nappers...meaning excellent couch buddies and top-tier relaxation experts.
🏡 Senior cats tend to settle into new homes quickly because all they really want is a peaceful spot and someone to love.

These sweet souls have so much heart left to give. They aren’t “past their prime”... they’re in their golden years, where every purr feels like a thank you and every head bump is full of meaning 🫶

These two golden oldies are here in our care but up for rehoming with Cats Protection Sheffield & District Branch 💜

Delboy and Muta are two of the more senior residents looking for new homes (seperately) and we just had to give them a little spot light on our socials as sadly the oldies do often miss out and people do over look them😔

Looking for a fun activity for the children at our Summer Fair this Sunday?

For just £5, children can choose and adopt their very own teddy and take part in the Teddy Travel Adventure!

Each teddy adoption includes:

🧸 A teddy to take home
📖 A Teddy Passport with a photo and fun details
🌍 Entry into the Teddy Travel Adventure Trail

Then it’s time for an adventure!

Visit 10 activity stations around the event, collect stamps in your Teddy Passport and, once you’ve completed the trail, return to the Adopt a Teddy stall to collect a FREE Teddy Travel Suitcase filled with treats and surprises. 🎁
