Itā€™s not forecast to get into the early/mid 30ā€™s like the other week but with the heat rising again, earlier, shorter, shady walks are happening. As always, I will keep a close eye on everyone, keep energy levels down, fresh water is always on offer and the air con is always on.

Lovely to take big Gus out for a short solo walk today. Gus had to have a front leg removed back in March so heā€™s not been out much but heā€™s doing brilliantly and building up his strength and stamina. He even got his favourite front seat ride as he jumped up before I could stop him. I enjoyed the face lick as I lifted him out when we got home.

Itā€™s been a frustrating week for me as all I want to do is work and look after your dogs but Iā€™ve had to make the call and almost my entire diary has been cancelled since Tuesday. It's not safe unless they go out super early and I don't want any of them to get heat stroke for the sake of a walk they could easily do without. Thank you for your patience and I hope you understand the decisions made. Back next week.

āš ļø WEATHER WARNINGS āš ļø

I wasnā€™t quite expecting to see temperatures rising as high as 37Ā° as the week progresses. Obviously I love walking the dogs but pet welfare and caution must be taken, even if the walks are shady and short. Please let me know via text if you want an alternative house/garden visit or to discuss options.
