📣 HOT WEATHER SAFETY & FIELD RULES 📣
With the extreme hot weather, the safety of your dogs (and the fields) has to come first. 🐾☀️
During periods of extreme heat, we have been closing the fields and rebooking customers who already had bookings. I’ll also be extending our opening hours where possible, with earlier mornings and later evenings for those who would prefer to walk their dogs before or after the hottest part of the day.
⚠️ PLEASE BE AWARE: The ground is currently extremely dry, and the grass is pretty much dead at this point. Please take extra care and limit how much your dog is running, as excessive running on dry, hard ground can lead to sore or damaged paw pads.
🚭 ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING IN THE FIELDS. 🚭
This is extremely important. In this weather, the risk of fire is incredibly high. If anyone is found smoking in the fields, it will result in an INSTANT BAN.
Unfortunately, I have already found two cigarette ends in the fields. This is completely unacceptable and puts my business, the land and surrounding areas at serious risk.
Please do not put yourselves, your dogs or my business at risk because you couldn’t wait 30 minutes or an hour to have a cigarette.
🔥 If a fire is started due to someone smoking, the person responsible will be liable for the costs of repairing/recovering the fields, and the police will be involved.
Please be sensible and help me keep everyone safe. ❤️
