🎉 BIG NEWS for our U8s – Spencer Joins Sheffield United Academy! ⚽🔴⚪
We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our very own Spencer has been asked to join the Sheffield United Academy! 🙌
This is a massive achievement and the result of a lot of hard work, dedication and love for the game. From getting spotted, to joining the Development Centre and now earning a place at the Academy – he’s been giving it his all every step of the way.
What makes it even more special is that Spencer’s done it all off his own back. He’s had to make some tough decisions, including playing without his Bramley mates – but he’s stayed strong, stayed focused and come through it brilliantly. We’re all so proud of him – and we know his teammates are too! 💪
Here’s a few words from Spencer’s dad:
“He’s been working so hard for this and I couldn’t be prouder. I want to give a big thank you to the Bramley Blacks coaches and Simon Dungworth (SJD Sports Coaching) for everything they’ve done for Spencer on his football journey so far. They’ve helped him enjoy his football, play with freedom and really express himself. Simon’s pushed him to that next level recently – building his confidence both on and off the pitch, which has even come through in his school report!“
