The Glade Cattery The Glade Cattery provides tranquil boarding for your cat or cats.

Accommodation has been built and designed to the highest welfare standards and is set in our own little glade, so that your pet can enjoy a peaceful and safe retreat whilst away from home. We have 5 double pens, meaning each pen is large enough to have 2 cats from the same household. 1 pen is large enough for up to 4 cats. We have been approved to the 'higher standard' from Sheffield City Council

and both indoor and outside areas are larger than the higher standards minimum requirements. As we're only a small cattery, it's wise to book as soon as you book your holiday, don't forget otherwise we may be fully booked.

We're fully booked from 23rd to 30th December.

Being approved to the highest standards by Sheffield City Council means our units are heated to a minimum 18degrees 24hrs a day. If you're taking a winter holiday do consider us to care for your kitties whilst you're away. They will be cosy and warm and most units have a cat flap to their very own outside area. We finally did it... with help from some amazing people.... David Lee, Mark Green, Ant Beever, Scott Oxley, Lee Myers, and Its For Hire South Yorkshire 👏👏👏 10 New pens already taking residents. 1 week earlier than originally planned I might add 🍾

We've been busy behind the scenes - received 5/5 stars with our licence renewal and we've started our new addition of 10 extra pens .. fingers crossed we will be ready for June! Thanks to all of you who provided reviews which helped us achieve our 5 star rating 🤩

Thanks to all our lovely customers for your support in 2022. We will be closed 6-9th Jan for maintenance, re-opening 10th Jan. It's cosy warm in the cattery all winter so your kitties will be lounging Lanzarote style. Give me a call for availability.

From Nov 1st my pricing changed to allow us to continue to heat the cattery at the higher standards of 18-24 degrees C 24hrs a day
Single occupancy £13.50 per day or part day
Double occupancy remains at £18 per day or part day
Treble occupancy remains at £24 per day or part day

5th September onward, please call for a booking.
I do have a waiting list just in case of cancellations.

Who would have thought cat food would become political? I've been using tinned food previously so that I can recycle the cans, then I saw that Pets at Home recycle the single use pouches. No sooner have I purchased the mega box of Felix and there's a media storm about those greedy unscrupulous lot at Nestle. Turns out Nestle own Purina, the brand behind so much of our pet food. So now I'm looking at https://thegoodshoppingguide.com/subject/cat-dog-food/ to source something more ethical.
It's just the way we roll here.... we won't just buy the cheapest cat litter and food, because we know that with our cash we can make choices that have a good impact.
