I was promoted at work this week - I should have applied ages ago but a combination of imposter syndrome, my mental health, and human and hound deaths kept me from putting myself up for review. But I finally did it 🙂.
So yesterday, Annie and I celebrated by visiting (a Sheffield institution) and choosing a new sofa and matching footstool for maximum comfort (I imagined myself knitting, gaming, and cuddling Annie when I tried out the sofa). We chose my dream sofa, a beautiful mid-century style l in rust bouclé and dark wood finish. It's GORGEOUS.
Thank you for welcoming Annie and I, and for not rushing us, showing us lots of beautiful things, and helping us acquire My Sofa of Dreams.
We finished the afternoon with w**e, a cheeseboard, and a cocktail at where Annie was welcome to lounge on a super comfy sofa.
A good day.

I'm having my usual annual leave migraine 😔 - apparently my body does not enjoy my attempts to relax 🤣 (although I don't feel relaxed, I'm super anxious about the start of the new semester and other stuff and things).
Annie and I had a quiet evening yesterday - please enjoy my M&S pyjamas and homemade apple and blackberry crumble. I love Annie's dark boba eyes 🖤. Thank goodness for dogs.

Tippy .studio was the winner of my Summerween giveaway 🎃. I'm so glad it's cool enough for jumpers now (well, mostly). Happy September friends and hello to the autumn months 🍂. I usually do my annual Gilmore Girls rewatch from September 1st, but I'm going to take a year off and rewatch Mad Men this year 💼.
My Halloween tee was designed by 's hooded and it's been super popular this year - I've got a few left in stock 🎃. I'm posting out some orders today and cracking on with cutting more ✂️.

I cut out a good batch of orders yesterday and I'll begin sewing today. Aiming to post out a decent amount on Tuesday 📬.

Yesterday, we did a circular walk from Edale via Mam Tor. This ascent up to Hollins Cross nearly broke me again 🤣 but Annie was in full mountain goat mode. I love seeing how agile she is. The weather was beautiful if a little muggy, and we timed our pub visit perfectly to coincide with a heavy shower of rain. All in all, an excellent day.
And thank you so much for supporting the shop update yesterday - I'm going to start cutting things out today and rejigging the inventory as needed. I'm so glad you like the new prints, it really means a lot and Annie and I are super grateful.

I thought I'd try something new for this autumn, and 's little horror hound portraits screamed pin badges to me, so now we have these cute wooden pins!
This is the larger size (40mm) and looks cute on a bag or clothing, or anywhere you'd normally pop a pin badge 🧟‍♀️. The other pin is a tiny 20mm and is perfect for lanyards. Mine is currently on the collar of one of my dresses.
I think they printed brilliantly (and thanks to for their patience in explaining to an idiot (me) that what I thought was bad printing was actually a protective paper layer 🤦🏻‍♀️ DOH) and I love that you can see the grain through the print.
Anyway, I hope you love them too. Available from tomorrow (28th August) at 6pm BST 🍂.

Another piece of autumnal joy 🎃🍂🦋 available on Friday from 6pm BST.
I'm so ready for autumn. We're forecast thunder and rain here and I can feel how dense and heavy the air is. It makes me feel tired and dizzy. A fresh breeze would be so welcome.
Anyway, what do you think of this tee? 🎃

Happy Monday (😑) friends! It's launch week 🧟‍♀️🕷️🎃, so here's me sporting my Frankenhound tee (yes, I know the monster isn't called Frankenstein but this is the best I've got right now 🤣) with my Fae child peering over my shoulder.
I'm going to donate 10% of my income from to 🖤. Battle Scars is a volunteer run charity based in Leeds who support folks who self-harm and anyone else who is affected by self-harm. I first heard about Battle Scars through a research project I'm involved with. We visited the hub in Leeds (with Annie!) and have lots of plans for further work with the charity. I'll write more about Battle Scars in my newsletter, but their definition of self-harm and approach to support is incredibly inclusive.
