As the days get a little cooler and the evenings start drawing in, it’s a good time to get our pets ready for the change of season. 🐶🐱🐰

A few things to think about this autumn:

🛁 Coat care – seasonal shedding, muddy walks and wetter weather mean regular brushing, grooming and a good shampoo can help keep coats in great condition.

🪲 Fleas & ticks – don’t forget about parasite protection just because summer is ending. Keep checking your pets and stay on top of their usual preventative care.

💧 Always have plenty of fresh, cool water available – a few ice cubes can help keep it cooler for longer.

🐶 Walk dogs early morning or later in the evening and avoid hot pavements.

🐱 Make sure cats have plenty of cool, shady places to snooze and extra water bowls around the house.

🐰 Keep rabbits and guinea pigs out of direct sunshine – a frozen water bottle wrapped in a towel can give them something cool to lie beside.
