We were just going to compost our tomato cuttings, but this year, we are going to make our own fertiliser feed for next year crops. Preparing now will be perfect for next years growth. I know you can also do this with borage and a few other organic feeds.

Have a great day!!

Thinking of doing this?

New bigger blue bins are rolling out through Sheffield. You can keep your old slim blue bin if you put the Council tag on it, and they will leave it you for storage purposes. If you own a garden plot, allotment, any green space, or just to store your hosepipe or make compost, it's a perfect small compact thing to use!

Here are 3 ideas that you could use it for, these are quick ideas. Have you got any more springs to mind?

If you don't know how to do any of the two first ideas, there's a few courses going around online which could help you.

Places like Archer Lane and Sheffield Environmental are just two of the many!

If you don't want the smaller blue bin, the council will take it away to recycle it.
