Just sharing a word of caution for anyone who walks their dogs around the Harthill reservoir.

‘We stress that this has NOT been officially confirmed yet, but there is what we believe to be Blue Green Algae blooms developing in the water. This can cause vomiting and diarrhoea in humans, but is also extremely toxic to pets, so would advise keeping your dogs out of the water until confirmed either way.’

I’m now back at work after a lovely week away very excited to see all my regulars this week! 🩷 Obviously had to keep on brand with feeding the stray cats,They were all so lovely we even saw a litter of Siamese kittens 🐱
My next holiday dates are Wednesday 30th September - Saturday 3rd October back working on the 5th September ✈️

Me & Zana have had an amazing day with all the dogs he wanted to come to work with me so that’s what he did! He got to meet Bear, Rosie, Mollie, Crumble & Lola and safe to say he loved all of them 🩵 He wants to come again tomorrow 🤭

Also a reminder that my last working day before my holiday will be Tuesday 4th August (Tomorrow). I’ll be back to work on Monday 17th August. 🌅

❤️ A little update on our brave girl Mollie ❤️

This week has been a real rollercoaster, but I’m so relieved and happy to say Mollie came through her dental surgery today really well.
She had 7 teeth removed due to dental disease and now only has 3 left.
She’s been such a trooper through it all.
I’ve been taking Mollie and her lovely mum to and from the appointments this week, and it felt really special to be able to help them.
Moments like this are exactly why I started my dog walking business — to support pet parents and their dogs when they need it most.❤️‍🩹
So proud of this girl and wishing her a smooth and speedy recovery filled with all the gentle cuddles and soft treats she deserves 🐾❤️

After an amazing week off i’m ready to get back to what i love the most! Just missing the air con and the pool. 💨🌊

We’ve been lucky enough to meet lots of amazing cats & dogs in spain, we met a Rottweiler x Mastiff i’m gutted i didn’t take a photo! There were some stray dogs & cats but the restaurants/bars are amazing with them and fed them everyday, They were waiting for their tea as we went for food 😋

Definitely ready to get my walking shoes on though, I may have indulged abit too much! 😅

All clients have been notified about time changes if needed with the weather ☀️

This week’s walking report… 📝

🐶 Happy dogs: Absolutely!

It’s been a very hot week, so we’ve been taking things slowly and putting safety first. We’ve kept our pups cool with shaded garden visits, plenty of fresh water, enrichment, and a few very spoiled dogs enjoying their own pool parties and even ice cubes in their water bowls 🧊 (Unless your Rosie and your cat sister steals them) 🤭

Next week looks much cooler and I never thought I’d say this but I’m excited for some rain again! 🤞🐾

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🥳

Just to keep you all updated, with the heatwave expected next week, I’ll be walking dogs in temperatures up to 23°C. Please note that for dogs with certain breed-related considerations, older age, larger size, breathing difficulties, or health conditions, I may decide that a garden visit is the safest option instead of a walk. 🏡

I’ll do my best to fit everyone in during the morning where possible, especially those who are flexible with timings. Dogs who normally have lunchtime-only slots will remain scheduled, but these may be changed to a garden visit if temperatures become too high.

We’re now back from Lanzarote! Had a lovely time and i’m sure alot of you know that it wouldn’t be a holiday for me if i didn’t feed the cats 😻 But I’m so pleased to know they know are being fed by the authorised colony manager and their bowls were topped up they just enjoyed treats more 😸
