Desheds so far this week! ✨🐶

Lots of loose fur being removed and coats getting a freshen-up! 🛁🫧 Keeping up with regular desheds helps keep your dog’s coat healthy, reduces loose hair around the home and keeps those tails wagging!🐾

Why regular nail trims are so important!✂️🐾

Keeping your dog’s nails at a healthy length isn’t just about keeping their paws looking neat. Overgrown nails can become uncomfortable and affect the way they walk, putting extra pressure on their toes, paws and joints.🐶

This lovely girl was very nervous and unsure about having her nails done, so we took our time, gave her lots of reassurance and worked at her own pace.❤️

We eventually managed to get as much off as she was comfortable with, which is a great step in the right direction! 🥰 Regular, gentle nail trims can help nervous dogs gradually build confidence and learn that nail care doesn’t have to be scary.🐾

🚨 FLEA WARNING – PLEASE READ 🚨

We are seeing a LOT of fleas around at the moment, and unfortunately we are finding them on more and more dogs coming into the salon🐶

We always recommend speaking to your vet about regular flea prevention. If possible, we strongly advise asking your vet about flea treatment tablets, as these can be very effective at getting on top of an infestation.

⚠️PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOG BEFORE THEIR GROOM⚠️

If your dog arrives at Bark ‘n’ Bubbles with fleas, the groom will still be charged at the full price.

This is because finding fleas in the salon has a huge knock-on effect. Once fleas are found, we have to:

🧼 Close the salon
🧴 Thoroughly clean and disinfect
🦟 Treat and spray the entire salon
📅 Reschedule all remaining dogs booked that day

This can mean multiple appointments have to be cancelled or moved, as we cannot risk passing fleas on to other dogs.

We completely understand that fleas can happen and they are not always easy to spotOur priority is keeping all of our furry clients safe and flea-free❤️

Please make sure your dog’s flea prevention is up to date before coming for their appointment.

Thank you so much for your understanding and for helping us keep Bark ‘n’ Bubbles a happy, clean and flea-free salon! 🐾🫧

🍂Autumn shedding is here!🍂

This week’s deshed pups have been working hard to leave all that loose fluff behind!🐶🫧✨

If your pup is starting to shed a little more than usual, now is the perfect time to book in for a deshed and get that loose coat under control!🐾

This little pup’s first ever groom! 🫧🐶

He was very nervous at first and wasn’t too sure about the brush 🥺 But with lots of patience, cuddles and reassurance, he slowly relaxed and by the end he let me do everything!✨
