What if your dog's walk could be more than a walk?

At Sea Moor Paws, we venture off the beaten track to give dogs the freedom to explore, sniff, scramble, paddle, problem-solve and simply be dogs.

Woodlands. Coast paths. Moorland. Rivers. Beaches.

Every adventure brings something new to discover.

Because it's not always about how far they walk…
it's about what they experience along the way.

The rain finally arrives...

Most people: "Oh noooo, bloody downpour!"
Me: "Bloody brilliant. The woods needed it!"

Not a polite little shower but a full on Devonian downpour!!!

Pretty sure the doggies found my enthusiasm a little strange.

At Sea Moor Paws we love soggy doggies, rain soaked faces and being right there in nature embracing the elements.

Today's office had a pretty special view.

Poppy loved exploring Roborough Down, where every breeze carried new wildlife scents and every path invited another little adventure.

No rush. No pressure. Just nature, freedom and a very happy dog. 🐾🌿

Anyone else's dog help themselves to nature's snacks? πŸ‡πŸ‡πŸ‡

When blackberry picking becomes a team sport...

My children picked them.

Brucie taste-tested them.

Quality control is clearly an important jobπŸ˜‚

Did you know?

Blackberries are one of the many dog-safe treats nature provides (in moderation, of course!).

Brucie certainly thinks blackberry season is the best season!

Nature isn't just a playground for dogs, it's a sensory feast too. From sniffing wildflowers to carefully picking the occasional blackberry, exploring the outdoors engages both body and mind.

From peaceful paths to the pages of Devon Life Magazine 🐾🌿

I'm so excited to share that Sea Moor Paws has been featured in this month's Devon Life magazine!

As a small local business, seeing Sea Moor Paws in such a well-loved magazine feels incredibly special.

What started as a dream to give dogs calm, enriching adventures in nature is slowly growing into something I'm so proud of. Thank you to those lovely souls who have supported, recommended and trusted me with your wonderful dogs so far, it truly means the world.

Here's to many more peaceful playful paws, wagging tails and adventures across Devon's beautiful coastline, woodlands and moors.

Golden hour on the South West Coast Path

Some places have a way of making you slow down.

This evening, the pups and I wandered the beautiful Noss Mayo to Revelstoke Drive circular walk as the sun began to sink. The golden light filtered through the trees, the cliffs glowed, and the estuary became as still as glass.

There was no rush, no agenda, just happy dogs, peaceful paths and one of those evenings that filled my cup.

Paws for thought:
Dogs don't hurry through beautiful places. Maybe we shouldn't either.

Moorland & Sea Adventures with Sea Moor Paws

One of this week's walks reminded me why the coast is such a magical place for our dogs.

From Ayrmer Cove to Westcombe Beach, we scrambled over rocks, explored rock pools, paddled in the crystal clear sea and paused to take in breathtaking views from the SW coast path.

To us, it's a beautiful walk.

To a dog, it's a world of adventure.

New scents carried on the sea breeze.
Different textures beneath their paws.
Natural obstacles to climb.
Space to explore.
Time to simply be a dog.

These aren't rushed walks or laps around the block. They're unhurried adventures where dogs can breathe the freshest sea air, explore nature at its wildest and come home fulfilled in both body and mind.

Tounge Out Tuesday

Today's photos prove two things:

1. Labradors are physically incapable of taking a normal photo and have complete lack of coordination.

2. Tongues are getting longer than their legs.
