** Hoopers space on a Thursday at 11am ** .

I have a space to share a 121 lesson with one other person every other Thursday at 11am at The Dog Field at Pilning.

The cost is £16.50 for 50 mins.

Any standard is fine, but dogs must be comfortable around people and dogs.

Woo hoo!!

Amy and Stitch have passed their Training Club Level 2 award.

This makes me so happy.

Their sticking point has been the 2 minute down stay but Amy has trained hard and on Tuesday it all came together.

If we compete, or are involved in a dog sport it’s good to put something back into that sport so competitions can run.

I judge or help at hoopers competitions twice a month and Mark has stewarded UK Dog Sports rounds and is stewarding at an obedience show in December.

This weekend I stewarded at Clickstart’s UK Dog Sports competition for the lovely Catherine Manfield who was judging and she did a great job.

Thank you Cath for the lovely glass pictured, which Cath made me for helping her ❤️.

I laid the search squares, watched Martine Taylor steward the control round and Cath judge some super teams. This was a really great learning experience for me and I enjoyed my day.

There are so many ways to help at competitions - judging, stewarding, setting up, packing away, changing courses, helping with refreshments and lots more.

Just ask the people running the event and I’m
sure they will be very grateful.

Well done to everyone at Clickstart for running such a great event in a lovely venue.

Winnie, who is attending puppy class, and my Ziggy enjoyed a nice walk together.

We practiced lead walking, then off lead time, then back on lead again.

Ziggy is great with puppies and Winnie listened to Ziggy’s body language really well.

On Saturday we enjoyed a lovely walk in Badminton for the first time in years.

The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.

The outing was great for the soul and great for the dogs.

We walked for 2 hours and the dogs stayed on lead due to livestock and rutting deer.

It was a great experience for the younger two, seeing traffic, people, dogs, horse riders, livestock and wildlife, all in achievable quantities they could cope with.
