Maybe it’s time to come back to you. 🐴❤️

Somewhere along the way, life became about everyone else.

The children.
The work.
The house.
The endless list of things that need doing.

And then one day, you realise you’re asking yourself:

“Who am I now?”
“What do I actually enjoy?”

Maybe the answer is something you already know.

You just haven’t done it for a while.

Maybe you used to ride.

Maybe you still remember the smell of the yard, the sound of hooves, the feeling of sitting on a horse and suddenly forgetting everything else.

You might feel nervous about coming back.

You might think you’re too old.
Too unfit.
Too rusty.
That everyone else will be better than you.

They won’t matter.

Because this isn’t about being the rider you were at 16.

It’s about giving yourself permission to be something other than the person who looks after everyone else.

An hour that’s yours.

A reason to get outside.

A new challenge.

A new community.

A horse who doesn’t care about your age, your job, your waistline or how long it’s been since you last rode.

And perhaps, somewhere between picking up the reins and taking that first walk around the arena…

you’ll remember a part of yourself you thought you’d lost.

So if you’ve been thinking about coming back to riding…

Don’t keep saying “one day.”

🎃👻 HALLOWEEN AT INSPIRE ME EQUESTRIAN 👻🎃

There’s something a little bit magical about Halloween at the yard… especially when you have three giant baby horses appearing out of the fog! 🐴🌫️🎃

But our half-term activities are about so much more than dressing up and having spooky fun.

They’re about children being children — getting muddy, laughing, riding, playing, trying something new and making friends along the way. 💙

We love seeing children arrive not knowing anyone, and leave having found new friends, shared experiences and a little more confidence than when they arrived.

Horses have an incredible way of helping children switch off from the outside world. Being around them encourages patience, responsibility, connection and confidence, while simply spending time with horses can provide a wonderful sense of calm and wellbeing. 🐴💙

At Inspire Me, we want every child to feel that they belong — whether they are confident and experienced, completely new to horses, quiet and nervous, or just here for the fun.

There’s a place for everyone at our yard. ❤️

So yes… there will be spooky horses, Halloween games, plenty of laughter and probably a fair amount of mud! 👻🎃

But most importantly, there will be friendships being made, confidence growing and children creating memories they’ll talk about long after Halloween is over. 🐴✨

💙 Blazer’s New Adventure 💙

Today is a very special, but rather emotional, day at IME as we say goodbye to our wonderful Blazer.

Blazer has been such a huge part of our riding school family for many years. He has worked incredibly hard, helping so many children and adults learn to ride, gain confidence, have fun and create memories that will stay with them for years to come. 🐴💙

He has certainly earned his retirement from riding school life, and we are so happy that he has found a lovely new home with a wonderful lady who has bought him to enjoy hacking and lots of adventures together. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect next chapter for him. 🥰

There will be lots of people at IME who have a very special soft spot for Blazer, and we would love to hear from you. ❤️

If you have a photo of Blazer, a favourite memory, or just a little message for him, please share it below. We would love to fill his farewell post with all the memories he has helped create over the years. 📸💙

Blazer, thank you for everything. Thank you for your patience, your hard work and for looking after so many of our riders over the years.
