Did someone order two black kittens just in time for spooky season? 🖤🖤

Penny and Piper were recently rescued from a local charity and came in to meet our team for their new pet check. Calm, content, and happy to accept a snack or two, they couldn’t have been better patients.

Since then, our nurses have been seeing them regularly to keep an eye on their weight, so their parasite control is always just right as they grow 🌱

Welcoming a kitten or puppy into your family? We offer free monthly nurse checks until they turn one, and lifelong care beyond that.

Look away from the rainy window and gaze into these beautiful brown eyes instead 🤎

Remi visited Vet Sydney at Langley Park recently with a sore eye (all ok, phew!). With eyes, things can change fast, so it’s always best to get them checked promptly.

Receptionist Kate captured this sweet snap, describing her as “such a lovely friendly dog”, and we couldn’t agree more!

If your pet’s eyes seem red, weepy or irritated, don’t wait. Contact your local branch and our team will be happy to check them over 👀

Is it Friday yet? Asking for Mimi 💤

After her monthly nurse health check, this sweet girl decided our scales made the perfect napping spot, and honestly, we can’t blame her. Some Mondays just call for a little lie down.

As a Pet Health Club member, Mimi enjoys unlimited consultations with our vets and nurses, so her owner can keep on top of her health whenever they need to (and she can catch up on her beauty sleep while she’s here!)

Sadly, a deceased cat was brought into our Langley Park practice after being discovered on Horseshoes Lane. We’re sharing her description in the hope of reuniting her with her family so they can say goodbye.

She is:
🐾 Female, around 2 to 3 years old
🐾 Domestic shorthair, mainly white with black markings around her nose, scruff, and tail
🐾 Microchipped, but the chip isn’t registered to her current owner

If you think she may be yours, or you recognise her from the local area, please contact our Langley Park team on 01622 808084. We’ll take care of her until she can be reunited with her loved ones.

Please share to help us find her owners 💙

A gentle reminder to check that your pet’s microchip details are up to date, so we can always get them home.

From the telly to the tiny screen in your hand 📺📱

Last week, ITV News Meridian visited our Sevenoaks practice to find out why looking after your pet’s teeth matters so much, and our Head of Dentistry, Fotios, was on hand to explain.

He was joined by our Marketing Manager, Sophie, and her spaniel, Arna, who kindly volunteered as a real-life example of what can happen when brushing doesn’t start early. (For the record, ITV, she’s a Springer, not a Cocker, but she forgives you 🐶)

Here’s the reason it matters. More than 80% of dogs and over 70% of cats show signs of dental disease by the age of three, and it can be uncomfortable for them long before you notice.

Fotios’s top tips:
🪥 Brush regularly with a soft, pet-specific toothbrush and pet toothpaste. Human toothpaste contains fluoride, so keep it for yourself.
👀 Lift a lip and look for red, swollen, or bleeding gums, and yellow or brown build-up.
🦴 Dental treats and specialist diets can help keep plaque at bay.
🐱 Be patient. Most pets get used to it, and it’s never too late to start.

Worried about what's going on in your pet's mouth? Contact your local Pennard practice, and our team will be happy to help.

Forget pumpkin spice, this autumn is all about Teabag ☕

This adorable Pekingese pup popped in for his first vaccination and puppy check, and made sure to share plenty of kisses with our team along the way. We think he's the perfect pocket-sized blend of fluffy and sweet!

Welcoming a new puppy or kitten home this season? We'll be with you every step of the way, with free monthly nurse checks until they turn one and lifelong care beyond that!

Day off? Not when Tia's in town and cuddles are on the cards 😻

Meet Tia, who enjoyed a lovely fuss from Vet Alberta and Client Care Advisor Kristina on her recent visit. Kristina wasn't even working that day, but when she heard Tia was in, she couldn't resist popping by for some quality snuggle time.

That's the kind of team we are: we really do adore your pets (even on our days off!).

Who's your pet's favourite member of our team? Tell us in the comments 🗨️

Cosy season has officially begun, and Finn is leading by example 🍂

Following his castration surgery, this sweet boy was feeling rather sleepy, so our team made sure he had plenty of snuggles while he came round. Cone on, eyes heavy, totally content 💤

Recovery is always better with a cuddle or two, and we make sure every patient in our care feels safe, comfortable, and loved ❤️‍🩹

Thinking about neutering your pet? Our team is always happy to chat through the options, so give your local branch a call.

Black cat found on Church Road, Otham 🐈‍⬛📍

Sadly, a black cat was brought into our Langley Park practice today after a road traffic accident and had already passed away.

They were found on Church Road, at the Otham end, near a farm entrance. Due to the nature of their injuries, we're unable to confirm whether they are male or female, and they were not microchipped.

If you think this could be your cat, please contact our Langley Park team on 01622 808 084.

Please share to help us find their family. 🖤

POV: it's Friday and you've just heard the word "treat" 👅

Meet Newton, a handsome husky who pops in to visit us purely for the snacks (and we're more than happy to oblige). Swipe for proof that a biscuit or two really does make everything better ➡️

Whatever your weekend plans, we hope they include something delicious. Go on, spoil yourself! 🍪
