From 7.6kg to 5.45kg. That's 2.15kg of pure dedication 💪

Meet Misty, who has been on the most incredible weight loss journey with our Senior Consulting Nurse Alison at Priory Lodge Vets. Over 18 months, this wonderful boy has lost an amazing 2.15kg thanks to Hill’s Pet Nutrition Metabolic diet, regular check ins with Alison, and the unwavering commitment of his brilliant owner Claire.

And Claire said it best herself: "Seeing him move around the house and garden with ease makes me so much happier." 🥹

It might be wet and wild out there today, but last week was a whole different story 🌧️☀️

While the sunshine was gorgeous, we know it can be a stressful time, so we just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to every single one of you who went the extra mile to keep your pets cool and comfortable 😎

Fresh water topped up, walks rescheduled, paddling pools out, cool mats at the ready. You did brilliantly and your pets are so lucky to have you 👏

When Sky came in with ear trouble, we used our Vetscan Imagyst to analyse her ear swab on the spot using AI powered technology. Don't be fooled by the size of it, this little machine packs a serious punch 👊.

The results? Lots of malassezia (a common yeast) but thankfully no bacterial infection, meaning we could get Sky on the right treatment straight away.

This is what beyond the ordinary diagnostics looks like in practice 💜

Missing for nearly 7 months. 7 months!! And then one microchip changed everything 🧡

Primrose had been missing from her home in Dover since November when a kind client found her on an industrial site near Maidstone and brought her into our Allington clinic. Our RVN Chris scanned her, found a chip, tracked down her owners and by the next morning this little family was back together again 🥹

We can't think of a better reminder of why microchipping matters so much.

Enjoy some floof on your feed this Friday 🧡

Say hi to Spejson, our favourite Pomeranian Pet Health Club member, who came to see us for his annual vaccination and check up.

And with some lovely warm weather on the way this weekend, it's also a great reminder to keep your fluffy friends cool and comfortable. Thick coated breeds like Spejson can really feel the heat, so make sure they have plenty of shade, fresh water and cool spots to rest 🌞
