Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time & Full Time)

Here at Dalehead Veterinary Group it is a very exciting time as we mark our centenary year with the opening of new branch practice in Skipton. We are looking for bright and cheerful team players to join our proactive, friendly Tier 2 practice. These are front of house roles predominantly based at our Skipton surgery, with the flexibility to cover shifts at our Settle main surgery and Bentham branch practice when needed.

Our hours of business are 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday – Thursday, 8.30am-5.30pm Friday and Saturday 9am until noon and the positions will in shifts to cover these hours. Flexibility is also essential to cover additional hours as required.

Candidates must have exceptional organisational and communication skills, a positive ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to multitask whilst maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and ensuring that jobs are carried through to completion in this busy environment. They must have the confidence and ability to work on their own initiative and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.

Veterinary Surgeon – Companion Animal
Role may suit New or Recent Graduate

We are expanding our Companion Animal department with a new purpose-designed surgery in Skipton opening in Autumn 2026.
We’re looking for a small animal vets (eligible to work in UK) to join our experienced team at this exciting stage in our independent practice’s development.

RVN Nurse Vacancy - Full Time, Settle & Skipton

Due to the continued growth of our Companion Animal services and the exciting opening of Dalehead Veterinary Group- Skipton we are looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join our team.

We're proud to be an independent, mixed practice with a great team ethos, an emphasis on high clinical standards and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

The role:
Full-time position (35 hours per week)
Shared Saturday rota and on-call responsibilities
Involvement across both Settle and the new Skipton practice
A varied nursing role to include patient care, clinics, managing surgical cases (from basic to advanced procedures), imaging, client support and QI projects as well as helping to promote the practice within the local community.

We're looking for someone who:
Is a qualified RVN eligible to work in UK
Works well within a team and contributes to a healthy workplace culture.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills
Is committed to continual learning and improvement

Annual salary range £26.5-32k depending on experience.
