A real grooming journey, these ones our sometimes our favourites, the ones we work the hardest for, to rebuild trust and confidence.
Scrappy first came to us having been banned by other groomers for his behaviour while clipping and nail trimming, when really he was just scared and defensive.
Understanding a dogs body language, the communication they give, patience and good handling techniques is paramount in everyday grooming but especially in cases like this. It may have taken a while but it’s worth every moment now scrappy comes in have a bath, dry, haircut, nail trim and even happy to have a cuddle with no stress💙
These dogs need grooming throughout their whole lives, banning or shaming them isn’t an option. We are always willing to work with anxious dogs and their owners to ensure all of our dogs feel comfortable with the grooming process.
