As I mentioned in yesterday's post, today was all about learning!

Today I had the pleasure of attending another fantastic seminar, where I met two more talented ambassadors from the Artero Pet Care - UK.
They introduced us to new grooming techniques and shared valuable tips on how to make our furry clients look even more beautiful.

One of the best parts of attending events like this is meeting fellow groomers and making new friends who share the same passion.

Now it's time to put everything I've learned into practice... if my little clients let me! 😂

And of course... I couldn't leave without buying a few essential grooming goodies! 😁
Every groomer knows that seminars are the perfect excuse to add a few more tools and products to the collection!

A huge thank you to Artero Uk, Kirsty Hunt, and Georgia Ashton for an inspiring and enjoyable day.

I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity James Holberry to learn and continue growing as a groomer. ❤️

🌟 Tomorrow is another exciting step in my journey as a new groomer!
I'm looking forward to spending the day learning from the talented Kirsty Hunt and Georgia Ashton at the Artero Pet Care - UK seminar.

As a new groomer, I believe there's always something new to learn. Every seminar, every technique, and every piece of advice helps me improve my skills and become more confident in my work.
I'm excited to learn, grow, meet fellow groomers, and bring back new ideas and techniques that will benefit every dog I have the pleasure of grooming.🐩❤️

Happy Friday!

It's impossible not to recognise Yaho! And it's just as impossible not to notice him whenever he's out for a walk, at 58 kg, he's certainly a head-turner!

Today, Yaho came to me for his very first grooming appointment. Despite his impressive size, he was an absolute gentleman from start to finish. He enjoyed a thorough brush, a double bath and a gentle blow dry at his own pace, taking everything in his stride.

Thank you Donna for trusting me with such a handsome boy.

I can't wait to welcome Yaho back for his next spa day!

I can finally say that I am a fully qualified and fully insured Dog Groomer! 🎉

Completing my grooming course has been an incredible journey, full of challenges, learning, and unforgettable memories.
At Snoots Dog Grooming Training Centre, you don't just learn how to groom dogs. You learn patience, professionalism, animal welfare, and, most importantly, you build friendships that will stay with you long after the course ends.
I will always be grateful to my tutors and classmates for their support, encouragement, and everything they have taught me.

If you're thinking about becoming a dog groomer, I honestly couldn't recommend Snoots Dog Grooming Training Centre enough.

I'd also like to give a special shout-out to my lovely friend and classmate Rebecca, who has recently opened her own fully new equipped grooming salon in Doncaster - Pristine Paws Dog Grooming - Doncaster 🐩
If you're in Doncaster or the surrounding areas and you're looking for someone who truly cares about dogs, I can confidently recommend Rebecca. I know how dedicated she is, and I wish her every success with her new business.

Did you miss me? 😂

Yesterday I took a little break after a busy weekend... which also happened to include my birthday! 🎉🥳

Today I'm back with Luna, a beautiful 2-year-old Cockapoo. ❤️
When Luna first arrived, she was quite nervous and unsure. She was anxious during the start of her groom and even tried to nip me. But with plenty of patience, gentle handling, and taking things at her own pace, she slowly began to relax.
By the end of the session, we managed to complete her groom, and seeing her leave looking and feeling so much better, made it all worthwhile.

Every dog is different, and sometimes the biggest achievement isn't a perfect haircut—it's helping them feel safe and building their trust.

Well done, Luna! I hope to see you again soon! ❤️

🌴Weekend off!

If you didn't know already... now you do! 😄🌻
Besides grooming puppies, I also have a soft spot for flowers. Spending a little time in the garden is my way of relaxing and recharging before another busy week.
Do you like flowers?!

Now all that's left is to sit back, relax, and cheer on England in tonight's match! 🍺⚽️

Happy Friday, everyone! ☀️

This morning started a little differently! 😄 Before the heat arrived, Lord and I made a quick trip to the allotment to water the tomatoes. 🍅💦

After that, it was time to welcome Cleo, a beautiful Toy Bichon Frise, for her groom.

❗️During her groom, I found several foxtails hidden in her coat. Thankfully, they were caught before they caused any problems.
🌾 Foxtails may look harmless, but they can be very dangerous for dogs. They can work their way into the skin, ears, eyes, nose, or paws, causing pain, infections, and sometimes even requiring veterinary treatment.

With the warmer weather and longer grass, it's always a good idea to check your dog's paws, legs, ears, and coat after walks—especially if they've been running through fields or long grass.

A little check today can prevent a much bigger problem tomorrow. 😉

Cavapoo day!

Meet Wilma! ❤️

Today I had the pleasure of welcoming Wilma, an 8-year-old Cavapoo, for her very first visit to my salon.
She was such a good girl throughout her groom—calm, gentle, and an absolute pleasure to have on the grooming table.
With the warm weather today, once her pamper session was finished, Wilma decided she'd had enough excitement! 😄 She found herself a nice shady spot under the garden table and happily waited there for her mummy to come and take her home.
I think she'd made herself quite comfortable! ❤️

Meet Ella! ❤️

I'd like to introduce you Ella, Rory's sister – the Cockapoo who wasn't exactly a fan of grooming! 😁

Unlike her brother, Ella was an absolute little star throughout her groom. Even though it was her very first visit with me, she behaved beautifully from start to finish.
She was calm, gentle, and a pleasure to groom.

It's always lovely to meet a new puppy and see them leave looking and feeling their best. 🌟
