Stay safe in the heat! ☀️🐶🐱
With temperatures forecast to top 28°C over the coming days, we are kindly asking our clients to avoid unnecessary travel for routine appointments.
Traveling in a hot car—or even walking on hot pavement—can put your pets at high risk for heatstroke and burned paws, even on short journeys.
🌡️ What you should do:
Routine checks & vaccinations: If your pet has a non-urgent routine appointment scheduled during the hottest part of the day, please call us to reschedule for a cooler day.
Keep them cool at home: Ensure fresh water is always available, keep pets indoors during peak heat, and avoid walks during the middle of the day.
When to call us immediately: If your pet is unwell, in pain, or showing signs of heatstroke (excessive panting, lethargy, drooling, or vomiting), do not delay. Call us right away so we can advise you and prepare for your arrival safely.
Our priority is keeping your furry family members safe and comfortable. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! 🐾❤️
