Hopefully he'll be back on the mend and enjoying training again V soon, hopefully bloods will give us answers, else he'll be referred to a specialist. I adore this dog with all my heart, him getting better can't come soon enough.

The lovely Bruce and his committed owner were really struggling with reactivity and a bit of a fractured relationship, his play drive is HUGE, but he wouldn't engage in play with his family out and about, he would with me or other people, just not them, they've both put in so very much work, gone away, done their homework, been present in sessions, and now he can even play and work around dogs with her (even when he could play with owner, he still really struggled with other dogs around!), now he can play around both of my dogs and other clients dogs which is such HUGE and amazing progress, relationship repaired and building more co-operative play, building the drive up in the dog to then use it in behaviours!
If you're struggling with reactivity, or any other behaviour problems do get in touch for real world training with proper foundations for results that actually last 😁

People can reshape the narrative around you, question your motives, and circulate whatever version of events serves them.

What they cannot change is the actual impact you’ve had on the people you’ve helped or the consistent choices that built your reputation over time.

Rumors move quickly; character is slower and quieter. The people who have seen your actions up close usually recognize the difference between noise and reality.

Protecting your focus and continuing to do solid work remains the most reliable response.

Play is such a HUGE part of my training, why, because the dopamine hit is HIGH, so the likelihood of repeat behaviours is high. I enjoy building drive, I'll sort the sticky outs out later! For now I'm super happy he's feeling better and getting cheeky!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That may sound backwards to some, but it isn't, drive first, control later.

When a trainer comes at me on their page stating no one should book with me, this is my response! I don't argue, don't take the bait, I just keep doing me, working my dogs, enjoying my life, and enjoying my clients. I work training the dog in front of me, so I CAN use all 4 quadrants of dog training, I can work with tools, the ideology of dog training currently is all a bit bonkers to me! Why I just keep doing me, if you find me and enjoy my fun and real life way of dog training with results that last, then GREAT! 😁😁 The toxic side of this industry is one I will not get involved with.

Been quiet from us lately as Pyro has been unwell 😢😢
Now he's feeling better, but has to be on a horrible gastrointestinal food that he will eat but isn't crazy about (understandable!!) so building drive up for the food with a bit of frustration here.

So excited to have been accepted onto programme starting in less than 2 weeks!!! Always so much more learning to be done and to get to learn from them is such a privilege!! Can't wait to get stuck in!!
