I will never force your cat to see me, have strokes if they aren't ready, and let them get used to me in their own time. 🤍

Keeping your cats (and any fur baby) cool in this heat is so important. 🚨

Dogs shouldn't be walked when temperatures start reaching 20-24 degrees. If you can't hold the back of your hand for more than 5 seconds on hot pavement, it WILL burn your dogs paws.

Here are some ideas on how to keep your furry friends cool:

Upgrade Water Access: Keep multiple water bowls filled with fresh, cold water. Consider adding ice cubes to their bowl.

Create Cool Retreats: Place a Cooling Mat or a towel-wrapped ice pack in their favorite napping spot.

Regulate Indoor Temps: Close curtains and blinds during the hottest parts of the day.

Use a fan to circulate air, but avoid pointing it directly at them.

Frequent Grooming: Brush your fur baby more often in the summer. Removing dead, excess fur reduces their "blanket effect" and improves airflow to their skin.

Limit Sun Exposure: Keep your furry friend indoors between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. If they are light-colored or have thin fur, ask your vet about pet-safe sunscreen for their nose and ears.

🚨 This is a notice that sometimes we may have a family member with us or helping on visits.
Ilness can pop up, important appointments may be sprung on us - we are only human. And it is important to me that your fur baby has that same level of care, and if you are already booked in, they need that companionship.

So, when needed, a family member may have to take on a feed/visit. They are just as confident with cats as I am; I come from a family who would literally die for your fur baby.
